本実施例は、ポリオキサジアゾール(POD)ステープルファイバーとモダクリル(MOD)ステープルファイバーとの均質ブレンドの難燃性紡績糸および布を例示する。
実施例1を、70重量パーセントのPOD繊維および30重量パーセントのモダクリル繊維である繊維のブレンドで繰り返す。表1は、生じた布および衣類の特性を例示する。糸中のモダクリル繊維のより高い含有率のために、実施例2の布は、向上した垂直火炎性能およびまた機器搭載熱マニキン試験での布の性能を償う優れたアーク格付けを両方とも有すると考えられる。
実施例1を、55重量パーセントのPOD繊維および45重量パーセントのモダクリル繊維である繊維のブレンドで繰り返す。表1は、生じた布および衣類の特性を例示する。このブレンドは、対照布に匹敵する垂直火炎性能および対照布よりも優れたアーク格付けを有するが、機器搭載熱マニキン試験での十分な性能のためには余りにも多くのモダクリル繊維を有すると考えられる。
実施例1を、45重量パーセントのPOD繊維および55重量パーセントのモダクリル繊維である繊維のブレンドで繰り返す。表1は、生じた布および衣類の特性を例示する。このブレンドは、対照布に匹敵する垂直火炎性能および対照布よりも優れたアーク格付けを有するが、機器搭載熱マニキン試験での十分な性能のためには余りにも多くのモダクリル繊維を有すると考えられる。
Claims (14)
- 糸中のポリオキサジアゾールステープルファイバーおよびモダクリルステープルファイバーの全100部を基準として;
a)60〜85重量部のポリオキサジアゾールステープルファイバーと;
b)15〜40重量部のモダクリルステープルファイバーと
のブレンドを含む火炎保護に有用な糸。 - 前記ブレンドが、糸中の前記ポリオキサジアゾールステープルファイバーおよびモダクリルステープルファイバーの全100部を基準として;
a)70〜85重量部のポリオキサジアゾールステープルファイバーと;
b)15〜30重量部のモダクリルステープルファイバーと
を含む、請求項1に記載の糸。 - 前記ポリオキサジアゾールステープルファイバーが、ポリアリーレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール、ポリアリーレン−1,2,4−オキサジアゾール、またはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項1に記載の糸。
- 前記ポリオキサジアゾールステープルファイバーが、ポリアリーレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール、ポリアリーレン−1,2,4−オキサジアゾール、またはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項2に記載の糸。

b)前記繊維混合物を紡績スフ糸へ紡績する工程と
を含む、難燃性紡績糸の製造方法。 - 前記繊維混合物が、前記糸中の前記ポリオキサジアゾールステープルファイバーおよびモダクリルステープルファイバーの全100部を基準として、70〜85重量部のポリオキサジアゾールステープルファイバーと15〜30重量部のモダクリルステープルファイバーとを含む、請求項11に記載の難燃性紡績糸の製造方法。
- 前記ポリオキサジアゾールステープルファイバーが、ポリアリーレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール、ポリアリーレン−1,2,4−オキサジアゾール、またはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項11に記載の難燃性紡績糸の製造方法。
- 前記ポリオキサジアゾールステープルファイバーが、ポリアリーレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール、ポリアリーレン−1,2,4−オキサジアゾール、またはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項12に記載の難燃性紡績糸の製造方法。
