Description
糸、布帛、および衣服の水分率は、ASTM Test Method D2654−89に従い測定した。
本実施例は、外面および内面を有し、外面が内面よりも親水性が高い布帛を例示するものである。異なる空気紡績糸を経糸および緯糸として使用して耐久性アークおよび熱防護布帛を作製した。
布帛に使用した経糸を、モダクリル繊維を50重量パーセント、リヨセル繊維を40重量パーセント、およびパラ系アラミド繊維を10重量パーセントのステープル繊維の緊密な混繊物から親水性ポリオキサジアゾールステープル繊維100重量パーセントに置き換えたことを除いて実施例1を繰り返しても、同様の結果が得られる。
経糸に使用した親水性ポリオキサジアゾール繊維の20重量パーセントを耐摩耗性を改善するためのナイロン繊維に置き換え、さらに、緯糸中の5重量パーセントのパラ系アラミド繊維をメタ系アラミド繊維に置き換えることにより緯糸のステープル繊維の緊密な混繊物の最終組成をメタ系アラミド繊維を98重量パーセントおよび帯電防止繊維を2重量パーセントとしたことを除いて実施例2を繰り返しても、同様の結果が得られる。
経糸および緯糸を交換してこれらの糸から緯浮きの布帛を織製したことを除いて実施例1〜3を繰り返しても同様の結果が得られる。
実施例1〜4の布帛の一部を様々な形状に裁断して縫い合わせることにより、各布帛を熱的危険源(thermal hazard)暴露時に有用な単層防護カバーオール、シャツ、およびズボンにする。
次に、本発明の態様を示す。
1. 緯糸とは異なる経糸を有する織製された布帛を含む熱防護用衣料物品であって、前記布帛が前記物品の内面および外面を形成し、さらに前記布帛が経浮きまたは緯浮きで綾織りされており、
a)前記物品の前記外面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記経糸である第1糸であり、かつ前記物品の前記内面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記緯糸である第2糸であるか、または
b)前記物品の前記外面の過半部分が前記布帛の緯糸である第1糸であり、かつ前記物品の前記内面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記経糸である第2糸であるか
のいずれかであり、かつ
前記物品の前記外面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第1糸が、親水性繊維および第1難燃繊維を含み、前記糸の少なくとも25重量パーセントが親水性繊維であり、かつ
前記物品の前記内面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第2糸が、疎水性である第2難燃繊維を少なくとも80重量パーセントを含む、
物品。
2. 前記経浮きの綾織りが、1/2、2/1、1/3、または3/1の綾織りである、上記1に記載の物品。
3. 前記親水性繊維が、セルロース系繊維、羊毛繊維、またはこれらの混合物である、上記1に記載の物品。
4. 前記セルロース系繊維が、レーヨン繊維、ビスコース繊維、綿繊維、リヨセル繊維、またはこれらの混合物である、上記3に記載の物品。
5. 前記セルロース系繊維が、難燃剤を付与されている、上記4に記載の物品。
6. 前記第1または第2難燃繊維が、モダクリル繊維、アラミド繊維、ポリアレーナゾール繊維、ポリスルホン繊維、またはこれらの混合物である、上記1に記載の物品。
7. 前記第1または第2糸のいずれか一方または両方が、モダクリル繊維およびセルロース系繊維の混繊物を含む、上記1に記載の物品。
8. 前記第1または第2糸のいずれか一方または両方が、FRレーヨン繊維およびアラミド繊維の混繊物を含む、上記1に記載の物品。
9. i)前記外面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第1糸が、リヨセル繊維を40%、モダクリル繊維を50%、およびパラ系アラミド繊維を10%を含み、かつ
ii)前記内面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第2糸が、メタ系アラミド繊維を100%を含む、上記1に記載の物品。
10. i)前記外面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第1糸が、FRレーヨン繊維を50%、メタ系アラミド繊維を30%、およびナイロン繊維を20%を含み、かつ
ii)前記内面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第2糸が、メタ系アラミド繊維を100%を含む、上記1に記載の物品。
11. 緯糸とは異なる経糸を有する織製された布帛を含む熱防護用衣料物品であって、前記布帛が前記物品の内面および外面を形成し、さらに前記布帛が経浮きまたは緯浮きで綾織りされており、
a)前記物品の前記外面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記経糸である第1糸であり、かつ前記物品の前記内面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記緯糸である第2糸であるかまたは
b)前記物品の前記外面の過半部分が前記布帛の緯糸である第1糸であり、かつ前記物品の前記内面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記経糸である第2糸であるか
のいずれかであり、
前記物品の前記外面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第1糸が、親水性の第1難燃繊維を少なくとも25重量パーセント含み、かつ
前記物品の前記内面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第2糸が、疎水性である第2難燃繊維を少なくとも80重量パーセントを含む、
物品。
12. 前記親水性の第1難燃繊維が、ポリオキサジアゾール繊維である、上記11に記載の物品。
13. 前記第1糸が、耐摩耗性繊維をさらに含む、上記11に記載の物品。
14. 前記耐摩耗性繊維が、ナイロン繊維である、上記13に記載の物品。
15. 経浮きで綾織りされた単層布帛から作製されたカバーオール物品、シャツ物品、またはズボン物品であって、前記布帛が緯糸と異なる経糸を有し、前記布帛が前記物品の内面および外面を形成し、
a)前記物品の前記外面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記経糸である第1糸であり、かつ前記物品の前記内面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記緯糸である第2糸であるかまたは
b)前記物品の前記外面の過半部分が前記布帛の緯糸である第1糸であり、かつ前記物品の前記内面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記経糸である第2糸であるか
のいずれかであり、かつ
前記物品の前記外面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第1糸が、
i)親水性繊維および第1難燃繊維を含み、前記糸の少なくとも25重量パーセントが親水性繊維であるかまたは
ii)親水性の第1難燃繊維を少なくとも25重量パーセントを含むか
のいずれかであり、かつ
前記物品の前記内面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第2糸が、疎水性である第2難燃繊維を少なくとも80重量パーセントを含む、
物品。
Claims (3)
- 緯糸とは異なる経糸を有する織製された布帛を含む熱防護用衣料物品であって、前記布帛が前記物品の内面および外面を形成し、さらに前記布帛が経浮きまたは緯浮きで綾織りされており、
a)前記物品の前記外面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記経糸である第1糸であり、かつ前記物品の前記内面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記緯糸である第2糸であるか、または
b)前記物品の前記外面の過半部分が前記布帛の緯糸である第1糸であり、かつ前記物品の前記内面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記経糸である第2糸であるか
のいずれかであり、かつ
前記物品の前記外面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第1糸が、親水性繊維および第1難燃繊維を含み、前記糸の少なくとも25重量パーセントが親水性繊維であり、かつ
前記物品の前記内面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第2糸が、疎水性である第2難燃繊維を少なくとも80重量パーセント含み、
前記綾織りが、1/2、2/1、1/3又は3/1綾織りであり、第1糸がステープル繊維製である、
物品。 - 緯糸とは異なる経糸を有する織製された布帛を含む熱防護用衣料物品であって、前記布帛が前記物品の内面および外面を形成し、さらに前記布帛が経浮きまたは緯浮きで綾織りされており、
a)前記物品の前記外面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記経糸である第1糸であり、かつ前記物品の前記内面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記緯糸である第2糸であるかまたは
b)前記物品の前記外面の過半部分が前記布帛の緯糸である第1糸であり、かつ前記物品の前記内面の過半部分が前記布帛の前記経糸である第2糸であるか
のいずれかであり、
前記物品の前記外面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第1糸が、親水性の第1難燃繊維を少なくとも25重量パーセント含み、かつ
前記物品の前記内面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第2糸が、疎水性である第2難燃繊維を少なくとも80重量パーセント含み、
前記綾織りが、1/2、2/1、1/3又は3/1綾織りであり、第1糸がステープル繊維製である、
物品。 - 経浮きで綾織りされた単層布帛から作製されたカバーオール物品、シャツ物品、またはズボン物品であって、前記布帛が緯糸と異なる経糸を有し、前記布帛が前記物品の内面および外面を形成し、

前記物品の前記外面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第1糸が、
i)親水性繊維および第1難燃繊維を含み、前記糸の少なくとも25重量パーセントが親水性繊維であるかまたは
ii)親水性の第1難燃繊維を少なくとも25重量パーセント含むか
のいずれかであり、かつ
前記物品の前記内面の前記過半部分を形成する前記第2糸が、疎水性である第2難燃繊維を少なくとも80重量パーセント含み、
前記綾織りが、1/2、2/1、1/3又は3/1綾織りであり、第1糸がステープル繊維製である、
物品。
