Claims (1)
- 開口部を有する胴部であって、電極体を包囲可能な多角環状の胴部と、前記開口部を閉じる平面視多角形状の閉塞部とを備えた蓄電素子用の外装体の製造方法であって、平面視多角形状に形成された第一領域と、該第一領域の輪郭を構成する直線状のエッジの全長に接続された第一曲げ領域と、該第一曲げ領域を介して第一領域に接続された第二領域とを備えた展開プレートであって、前記第二領域が、前記エッジの延びる方向と同方向における前記第一曲げ領域の全長又は略全長に亘って接続される主壁領域と、該主壁領域に対して前記エッジの延びる方向と同方向で横並びに且つ前記第一曲げ領域に連続して接続された第二曲げ領域と、該第二曲げ領域を介して前記主壁領域に接続された副壁領域とを含む展開プレートの前記第一曲げ領域を前記エッジと同方向に延びる仮想線上を曲げ支点にして曲げ加工するステップと、前記展開プレートの前記第二曲げ領域を前記エッジと交差する方向に延びる仮想線上を曲げ支点にして曲げ加工するステップと、曲げ加工された前記展開プレートの前記第一領域に対して前記第二曲げ領域及び前記副壁領域をレーザー溶接するステップとを備え、曲げ加工の対象となる前記展開プレートは、前記第二領域における前記第二曲げ領域及び前記副壁領域が前記主壁領域よりも前記第一曲げ領域の曲げ支点まで前記第一曲げ領域側に延在して形成されることを特徴とする蓄電素子用の外装体の製造方法。
