図2へ戻ると、1つの実施形態により、サーバー109は、更に、医療データストア206から検索された医療画像をコラボレーション形態で検討し処理するクライアント202−203のような関係者の間で医療画像検討及び処理セッションをホストすることのできる医療画像コラボレーションシステム208を備えている。各関係者は、アクセスコントロールシステム210によりコントロールされる自分の各アクセス特権にある程度基づいて検討に参加する(例えば、画像を見及び/又は変更する)。異なる関係者は、画像の検討セッション又はワークフロープロセスの異なるステージに参加する。役割(例えば、医師、保険代理店、患者、或いは第三者のデータ分析者又は調査会社)に関連したアクセス又はユーザ特権に基づいて、異なる関係者は、画像に関連した患者のプライバシーを侵害することなく、画像に関連した情報の一部分又は処理ツールにしかアクセスできないように制限される。又、関係者は、チャット、インスタントメッセージング、ボイス又は他の手段を経て、互いにコラボレーション的に通信することもできる。この通信は、リアルタイムでも良いし、記録されてもよい。
クラウドモデルにおける進歩型画像処理ソフトウェアを正当に使用するために、モダリティ又はスキャナからの切片画像データをクラウドのサーバーで受け取ることが必要である。異なるタイプの医療画像捕獲装置は、CT、MRI、PET、単一フォトン放射コンピュータ断層撮影(SPECT)、超音波、断層撮影、等を含む。慣習的に、大きなボリュームの画像データを移動する効率的で且つ有効な方法がないために、ワークステーション及びサーバーベースシステムからクラウドベースシステムへの移行が妨げられている。過去においては、僅かなスキャンしか行われず、又、スキャン当たりの画像切片も僅かである。データのボリュームが急速に増加し、著しい数の大きな画像を効率的に且つ広範囲の設定を伴わずに容易に転送する方法の必要性が生じている。

Claims (12)
- クラウドベースの画像処理サービスを提供するためのコンピュータにより実行される方法において、
ユーザに関連したクライアント装置で実行されるアプリケーションからの三次元(3D)医療画像データにアクセスするための要求を、ネットワークを経てクラウドサーバーで受け取り、前記クラウドサーバーは、前記クラウドサーバーによって提供される複数の画像処理ツールを使用して複数のユーザへ画像処理サービスを提供するものであり、
前記3D医療画像データにアクセスするためのユーザのユーザ特権を決定し、前記ユーザ特権は、前記3D医療画像データに関連したものであり、前記3D医療画像データは、医療画像形成装置によって捕獲され、そして前記クラウドサーバーに関連したストレージに記憶されるものであり、
前記ユーザ特権に基づきユーザに利用可能な画像処理ツールのみを表わす1つ以上のアイコンを前記アプリケーションが表示できるようにツール利用性情報を前記クライアント装置へ伝送することを含めて、前記3D医療画像データを処理するためにユーザに利用可能な前記画像処理ツールを前記ユーザの特権に基づいて制限し、

前記ユーザ特権に基づきユーザに利用可能な画像処理ツールのみを表わす1つ以上のアイコンを前記アプリケーションが表示できるようにツール利用性情報を前記クライアント装置へ伝送することを含めて、前記3D医療画像データを処理するためにユーザに利用可能な前記画像処理ツールを前記ユーザの特権に基づいて制限する手段と、
それぞれのアイコンを介して前記利用可能な画像処理ツールの1つ以上を選択するコマンドを前記クライアント装置のアプリケーションから受け取るのに応答して、前記クラウドサーバーで実行される前記選択された1つ以上の画像処理ツールを使用して前記3D医療画像データを前記クラウドサーバーで処理して、画像処理結果を発生するための手段と、
前記画像処理結果を、前記クライアント装置のアプリケーションにより表示すべく前記クライアント装置へ伝送するための手段と、
を備えた装置。 - 1つ以上の医療画像形成装置により捕獲された三次元(3D)医療画像データを記憶するためのデータストアと、
ネットワークを経てユーザに関連したクライアント装置で実行されるアプリケーションから前記3D医療画像データにアクセスする要求を受け取るためのインターフェイスと、 複数のユーザへ画像処理サービスを提供するための複数の画像処理ツールと、
前記3D医療画像データにアクセスするために、前記3D医療画像データに関連したユーザのユーザ特権を決定し、そして前記ユーザ特権に基づきユーザに利用可能な画像処理ツールのみを表わす1つ以上のアイコンを前記アプリケーションが表示できるようにツール利用性情報を前記クライアント装置へ伝送することを含めて、前記3D医療画像データを処理するためにユーザに利用可能な前記画像処理ツールを前記ユーザの特権に基づいて制限するためのアクセスコントロールモジュールと、
を備え、それぞれのアイコンを介して前記利用可能な画像処理ツールの1つ以上を選択するコマンドを前記クライアント装置のアプリケーションから受け取るのに応答して、前記選択された1つ以上の画像処理ツールを使用して前記3D医療画像データを処理して、画像処理結果を発生し、そして前記画像処理結果を、前記クライアント装置のアプリケーションにより表示すべく前記クライアント装置へ伝送するようにされた、データ処理システム。
