Description

Claims (15)
- 研磨物品であって、
微結晶性アルミナを含む研磨粒子を含む結合研磨体であって、前記研磨粒子は結合材料内に含有され、前記結合材料は、酸化アルミニウム(Al 2 O 3 )、酸化ビスマス(Bi 2 O 3 )、酸化バリウム(BaO)および二酸化ケイ素(SiO2)を含む混合物から形成されるガラス質材料を含み、前記混合物は、重量%で測定したときに、少なくとも1.2の酸化バリウムの二酸化ケイ素に対する比率(BaO/SiO2)を有する、研磨物品。 - 前記研磨粒子は、多結晶質であり、前記研磨粒子は、1ミクロン以下の平均砥粒径を有する、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記結合材料は、単相ガラス質材料を含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記結合材料は、1000℃以下の融点を有する、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記結合材料は、600℃以下のガラス転移温度を有する、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記混合物は、重量%で測定したときに、酸化ビスマスおよび酸化アルミニウムを少なくとも1.2、かつ、19以下の比率(Bi2O3/Al2O3)で含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記混合物は、重量%で測定したときに、酸化ホウ素および酸化アルミニウムを少なくとも3、かつ、30以下の比率(B2O3/Al2O3)で含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記混合物は、重量%で測定したときに、酸化ホウ素および二酸化ケイ素を少なくとも0.5、かつ、10以下の比率(B2O3/SiO2)で含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記混合物は、重量%で測定したときに、酸化ビスマスおよび二酸化ケイ素を少なくとも0.5、かつ、10以下の比率(Bi2O3/SiO2)で含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記混合物は、二酸化ケイ素(SiO2)を含み、前記混合物は、重量%で測定したときに、酸化バリウムおよび二酸化ケイ素を少なくとも1.5、かつ、10以下の比率(BaO/SiO2)で含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記結合研磨体は、少なくとも20GPaの弾性係数を有する、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記結合研磨体は、少なくとも1mmのSBHを含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記混合物は、少なくとも10重量%の酸化ビスマス(Bi 2 O 3 )を含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記混合物は、少なくとも12重量%の酸化バリウム(BaO)を含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記結合材料は、600℃以下の軟化点温度を有する、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
