技術分野

電気外科手術は、組織を切断し、切除し、または凝固させるために、外科手術部位への高無線周波数の電流の適用を伴う。単極の外科手術において、ソースまたはアクティブ電極は、無線周波数エネルギーを電気外科手術ジェネレータから組織へ送達し、リターン電極は、電流をジェネレータに運び戻す。単極の外科手術において、ソース電極は、一般的に、外科医によって保持され、かつ、治療されるべき組織に適用される外科手術器具の一部分である。患者リターン電極は、電流をジェネレータに運び戻すために、アクティブ電極から離れて設置される。
本開示の一局面に従って、電気外科手術エネルギーを送達するためのシステムが提供される。システムは、少なくとも1つの電極を含む電気外科手術器具と、電気外科手術器具に結合された電気外科手術ジェネレータとを含む。電気外科手術ジェネレータは、電気外科手術エネルギーを生成するように構成された出力ステージと、出力ステージに結合されたコントローラとを含み、コントローラは、少なくとも1つの電極と組織との間のアークを生成するために、所定の電力レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを出力することと、アークが生成されると、アークを持続させるために、所定の電流レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを出力することとを行うように出力ステージを制御するように構成されている。

電気外科手術エネルギーを送達するためのシステムであって、該システムは、
少なくとも1つの電極を含む電気外科手術器具と、
該電気外科手術器具に結合された電気外科手術ジェネレータと
を含み、
該電気外科手術ジェネレータは、
電気外科手術エネルギーを生成するように構成された出力ステージと、
該出力ステージに結合されたコントローラと
を含み、
該コントローラは、該少なくとも1つの電極と組織との間のアークを生成するために、所定の電力レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを出力することと、該アークが生成されると、該アークを持続させるために、所定の電流レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを出力することとを行うように該出力ステージを制御するように構成されている、システム。
(項目2)
上記電気外科手術ジェネレータは、組織特性またはエネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つを測定するように構成されたセンサーをさらに含む、上記項目に記載のシステム。
(項目3)
上記組織特性または上記エネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つは、インピーダンス、二乗平均平方根電圧、平均電圧、瞬間電圧、電流、電力、二乗平均平方根電流、平均電流、瞬間電流、二乗平均平方根電力、平均電力、瞬間電力、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、上記項目のいずれかに記載のシステム。
(項目4)
上記コントローラは、上記センサーに結合されており、該コントローラは、上記組織特性または上記エネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つに応答して、電力制御モードと電流制御モードとの間で切り替えるように構成されており、該電力制御モード中、上記出力ステージは、上記少なくとも1つの電極と組織との間にアークを生成するために、上記所定の電力レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを送達し、該電流制御モード中、該出力ステージは、上記アークが生成されると、該アークを持続させるために、上記所定の電流レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを送達する、上記項目のいずれかに記載のシステム。
(項目5)
上記センサーは、上記組織に適用された電圧を測定するようにさらに構成されており、上記コントローラは、該電圧が所定の電圧閾値より下にあるか否かを決定するように構成されている、上記項目のいずれかに記載のシステム。
(項目6)
上記コントローラは、上記電圧が上記所定の電圧閾値より下にあることに応答して、電流制御モードを維持するように構成されている、上記項目のいずれかに記載のシステム。
(項目7)
電気外科手術エネルギーを送達するためのシステムであって、該システムは、
少なくとも1つの電極を含む電気外科手術器具と、
該電気外科手術器具に結合された電気外科手術ジェネレータと
を含み、
該電気外科手術ジェネレータは、
電気外科手術エネルギーを生成するように構成された出力ステージと、
組織特性またはエネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つを測定するように構成されたセンサーと、
該出力ステージおよび該センサーに結合されたコントローラと
を含み、
該コントローラは、該組織特性または該エネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つに応答して、電力制御モードと電流制御モードとの間で切り替えるように構成されており、該電力制御モード中、該出力ステージは、該少なくとも1つの電極と組織との間にアークを生成するために、所定の電力レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを送達し、該電流制御モード中、該出力ステージは、該アークが生成されると、該アークを持続させるために、所定の電流レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを送達する、システム。
(項目8)
上記センサーは、上記組織に適用された電圧を測定ようにさらに構成されており、上記コントローラは、該電圧が所定の電圧閾値より下にあるか否かを決定するように構成されている、上記項目のいずれかに記載のシステム。
(項目9)

(項目11)
電気外科手術エネルギーを送達する方法であって、該方法は、
電力制御モード中、少なくとも1つの電極の間にアークを生成するために、所定の電力レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを送達することと、
電流制御モード中、該アークが生成されると、該アークを持続させるために、所定の電流レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを送達することと
を含む、方法。
(項目12)
組織特性またはエネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つを測定することをさらに含む、上記項目のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目13)
上記組織特性または上記エネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つに応答して、上記電力制御モードと上記電流制御モードとの間で切り替えることをさらに含む、上記項目のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目14)

電気外科手術エネルギーを送達するためのシステムが提供される。システムは、少なくとも1つの電極を含む電気外科手術器具と、電気外科手術器具に結合された電気外科手術ジェネレータとを含む。電気外科手術ジェネレータは、電気外科手術エネルギーを生成するように構成された出力ステージと、出力ステージに結合されたコントローラとを含み、コントローラは、少なくとも1つの電極と組織との間のアークを生成するために、所定の電力レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを出力することと、アークが生成されると、アークを持続させるために、所定の電流レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを出力することとを行うように出力ステージを制御するように構成されている。
Claims (10)
- 電気外科手術エネルギーを送達するためのシステムであって、該システムは、
少なくとも1つの電極を含む電気外科手術器具と、
該電気外科手術器具に結合された電気外科手術ジェネレータと
を含み、
該電気外科手術ジェネレータは、
電気外科手術エネルギーを生成するように構成された出力ステージと、
該出力ステージに結合されたコントローラと
を含み、
該コントローラは、該少なくとも1つの電極と組織との間のアークを生成するために、所定の電力レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを出力することと、該アークが生成されると、該アークを持続させるために、所定の電流レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを出力することとを行うように該出力ステージを制御するように構成されている、システム。 - 前記電気外科手術ジェネレータは、組織特性またはエネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つを測定するように構成されたセンサーをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記組織特性または前記エネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つは、インピーダンス、二乗平均平方根電圧、平均電圧、瞬間電圧、電流、電力、二乗平均平方根電流、平均電流、瞬間電流、二乗平均平方根電力、平均電力、瞬間電力、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載のシステム。

- 前記センサーは、前記組織に適用された電圧を測定するようにさらに構成されており、前記コントローラは、該電圧が所定の電圧閾値より下にあるか否かを決定するように構成されている、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラは、前記電圧が前記所定の電圧閾値より下にあることに応答して、電流制御モードを維持するように構成されている、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 電気外科手術エネルギーを送達するためのシステムであって、該システムは、
少なくとも1つの電極を含む電気外科手術器具と、
該電気外科手術器具に結合された電気外科手術ジェネレータと
を含み、
該電気外科手術ジェネレータは、
電気外科手術エネルギーを生成するように構成された出力ステージと、
組織特性またはエネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つを測定するように構成されたセンサーと、
該出力ステージおよび該センサーに結合されたコントローラと
を含み、
該コントローラは、該組織特性または該エネルギー特性のうちの少なくとも1つに応答して、電力制御モードと電流制御モードとの間で切り替えるように構成されており、該電力制御モード中、該出力ステージは、該少なくとも1つの電極と組織との間にアークを生成するために、所定の電力レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを送達し、該電流制御モード中、該出力ステージは、該アークが生成されると、該アークを持続させるために、所定の電流レベルで電気外科手術エネルギーを送達する、システム。 - 前記センサーは、前記組織に適用された電圧を測定ようにさらに構成されており、前記コントローラは、該電圧が所定の電圧閾値より下にあるか否かを決定するように構成されている、請求項7に記載のシステム。
