Claims (11)
- 電動装置であって、
少なくとも1つの電動コンポーネントと、
少なくとも2つのセルを含む電源であって、少なくとも1つのセルが前記電動コンポーネントに電力供給を行い、残りのセルは予備として保持される、電源と、そして
前記少なくとも1つの電動コンポーネント及び前記電源に接続された制御回路と、を備え、
前記制御回路は、以下の
充電信号を生成するコントローラと、
前記コントローラに接続され、前記電源から電力を受け取り、且つ、前記コントローラにより受信されて前記充電信号に変換されるブースト信号を生成するブーストレギュレータ回路と、
前記コントローラに接続され、当該コントローラから前記充電信号を直接受信するスー パーキャパシタであって前記スーパーキャパシタは所定の電圧を前記電動コンポーネントに供給するスーパーキャパシタと、そして
前記電源と前記コントローラの間に接続されたセル選択回路と、を含み、前記コントロ ーラは当該セル選択回路により受信される選択信号を生成し少なくとも2つの前記セルの うちから選択された1つのいずれか最も電圧の低いセルを前記ブーストレギュレータ回路 に接続し前記ブーストレギュレータ回路に前記スーパーキャパシタを充電させて少なくと も一つの電動コンポーネントに直接給電させ、ここで前記ブーストレギュレータ回路及び前記コントローラは前記電源をモニタリングして、前記1つのセルが完全に使い尽くされたとき、前記予備として保持されている残りのセルの少なくとも1つから電力を引き出し 前記コントローラ及び前記ブーストレギュレータ回路は前記電源と前記スーパーキャパシ タの間に配置され前記コントローラ及び前記選択信号は利用可能な最も運転電圧が低いセ ルを選択する電動装置。 - 前記少なくとも2つのセルは異なるタイプ及びサイズのセルであり、アルカリ電池、NiMH電池、単三電池、単四電池、C電池及びD電池からなる群から選択される請求項1記載の電動装置。
- 前記少なくとも2つのセルは並列接続される請求項1記載の電動装置。
- 流体詰め替えコンテナを収納できるハウジングをさらに備えた前記電動装置であって、前記少なくとも1つの電動コンポーネントは、前記流体詰め替えコンテナから流体を投与放出する際に当該投与放出を補助する請求項1記載の電動装置。
- 前記セルの各々に付随して前記コントローラに接続された発光要素を含むセルインジケータ回路をさらに備えた前記電動装置であって、前記発光要素は、前記付随するセルが使い尽くされたか否かを示す請求項4記載の電動装置。
- 前記ハウジングに取り付けられたカバーと、
前記カバーに接続され且つ前記コントローラに接続されたカバースイッチと、をさらに備えた前記電動装置であって、
前記コントローラは、前記付随するセルが使い尽くされたか否かに応じて前記発光要素を発光させる請求項5記載の電動装置。 - 前記スーパーキャパシタが1ファラッド(Farad)より大きな値を有し、当該スーパーキャパシタが前記少なくとも1つの電動装置に電力供給する請求項1記載の電動装置。
- 前記スーパーキャパシタが不十分な電荷を有する場合、前記電源が前記電動コンポーネントに直接電力供給する請求項7記載の電動装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記ブーストレギュレータ回路を通じ、前記選択されたセルを使 用して前記スーパーキャパシタを所望の充電レベルが得られるまで充電する請求項1記載 の電動装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記スーパーキャパシタの充電値を周期的にチェックし不十分な 充電値が検出される場合には、前記ブーストレギュレータが前記スーパーキャパシタを再 充電する請求項1記載の電動装置。
- 前記ブーストレギュレータ回路は前記コントローラのみによって制御されて前記ブース トレギュレータ回路の出力は前記コントローラによってのみ受信される請求項1記載の電 動装置。
