Claims (2)
- 所定配光パターンを形成するように構成された車両用灯具において、
半導体発光素子を用いた光源と、
前記光源の前方かつ前記光源を通って車両前後方向に延びる光軸上に配置され、前記光源からの光線が入射する入射面と、前記入射面から入射した前記光源からの光線が出射する出射面と、を含む投影レンズと、
を備えており、
前記所定配光パターンは、水平方向に長く鉛直方向に短い帯状の基本配光パターンと、水平線と鉛直線との交点に対して斜め左下の位置に形成される第1付加配光パターンと、水平線と鉛直線との交点に対して斜め左上の位置に形成される第2付加配光パターンと、水平線と鉛直線との交点に対して斜め右下の位置に形成される第3付加配光パターンと、水平線と鉛直線との交点に対して斜め右上の位置に配置される第4付加配光パターンと、を含んでおり、
前記出射面及び/又は入射面は、前記出射面と入射面を通る投影レンズの中心に対して斜め左上に位置する一部領域に設定された第1屈折面と、前記出射面の中心に対して斜め左下に位置する一部領域に設定された第2屈折面と、前記出射面の中心に対して斜め右上に位置する一部領域に設定された第3屈折面と、前記出射面の中心に対して斜め右下に位置する一部領域に設定された第4屈折面と、前記第1屈折面、前記第2屈折面、前記第3屈折面及び前記第4屈折面以外の第5屈折面と、を含んでおり、
前記第1屈折面は、当該第1屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が前記第1付加配光パターンを形成するように、水平断面形状が、前記第1屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が前記光軸寄りに集光する形状とされ、鉛直断面形状が、前記第1屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が水平面に対して下向きの方向を照射する形状とされ、
前記第2屈折面は、当該第2屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が前記第2付加配光パターンを形成するように、水平断面形状が、前記第2屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が前記光軸寄りに集光する形状とされ、鉛直断面形状が、前記第2屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が水平面に対して上向きの方向を照射する形状とされ、
前記第3屈折面は、当該第3屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が前記第3付加配光パターンを形成するように、水平断面形状が、前記第3屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が前記光軸寄りに集光する形状とされ、鉛直断面形状が、前記第3屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が水平面に対して下向きの方向を照射する形状とされ、
前記第4屈折面は、当該第4屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が前記第4付加配光パターンを形成するように、水平断面形状が、前記第4屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が前記光軸寄りに集光する形状とされ、鉛直断面形状が、前記第4屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が水平面に対して上向きの方向を照射する形状とされ、
前記第5屈折面は、当該第5屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が前記基本配光パターンを形成するように、水平断面形状が、前記第5屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が水平方向に拡散する形状とされ、鉛直断面形状が、前記第5屈折面から出射する前記光源からの光線が前記光軸に対して平行又は略平行な光線となる形状とされていることを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 前記投影レンズの前方にアウターレンズを有し、
前記アウターレンズとハウジングとで組み合わされて構成される灯室内に、前記光源および前記投影レンズを備えたハイビーム用光学系と、他の光源および他の投影レンズを備えたロービーム用光学系とが配置され、
前記ハイビーム用光学系の前記光源、および前記ロービーム用光学系の前記他の光源に駆動電流を供給する電源回路を有し、
前記ハイビーム用光学系の前記光源、および前記ロービーム用光学系の前記他の光源を同時点灯することで、前記ハイビーム用光学系により形成されるハイビーム用配光パターンと前記ロービーム用光学系により形成されるロービーム用配光パターンとが重畳された配光パターンを形成する請求項1に記載の車両用灯具。
