Description
さらに本発明の目的は、妨害的な大きな粒子を含まないガラス粉末を製造する方法を提供することにある。
さらに本発明によれば、1.5μm以下の平均粒度を有し、10μmを超える粒子サイズを有する粒子を含んでいないガラス粉末の製造方法であって、出発材料としてのガラスが、粉砕媒体を備えた微粉砕機内で所望の平均粒度まで粉砕され、ここで、粉砕媒体は出発ガラスと同じ材料あるいは同じ屈折率を有する材料から成り、ガラス微粒子と粒子の混合物が形成され、ガラス微粒子と粒子の混合物中に存在する10μmを超える粒子サイズを有する粒子は分離により混合物から取り除かれることを特徴とする方法が提供される。
好ましい実施態様及び用途は、従属請求項に示されている。
尚、上記平均粒度は、静的光散乱法もしくは静的レーザー回析/散乱法により測定できる。
Claims (8)
- 1.5μm以下の平均粒度を有し、10μmを超える粒子サイズを有する粒子を含んでいないガラス粉末の製造方法であって、
出発材料のガラスを、ガラス微粒子と粒子の混合物を形成するために出発材料と同じ材料あるいは同じ屈折率を有する材料から成る粉砕媒体を備えた微粉砕機内で湿式粉砕して、1.5μm以下の第一の平均粒度を有する第一の粒子分布を有する粉砕ガラス微粒子と、10μmを超える第二の平均粒子サイズを有する妨害的粒子とを含む粉砕スラリーを生成し、
上記粉砕スラリーを、分離されるべき粒子の最小直径に実質的に相当するメッシュ・サイズを有する網及び/又は篩を通過させ、上記第一の粒子分布を維持して、10μmを超える粒子サイズを有する粒子を分離により取り除くことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記網及び/又は篩はポリマー繊維によって形成されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー繊維はポリアミド繊維である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 粉末微粒子は1.0μm以下又は0.7μm以下又は0.5μm未満又は0.25μm未満の平均粒度を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 粉末微粒子は5μmを超える粒子サイズを有する粒子を含んでいない、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 粉末微粒子は3μmを超える粒子サイズを有する粒子を含んでいない、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法でガラス粉末を製造し、該ガラス粉末を歯科用合成樹脂組成物を製造するために使用する、ガラス粉末の使用方法。
- 前記歯科用合成樹脂組成物が歯科用複合材料である請求項7に記載のガラス粉末の使用方法。
