Description
図1は、本発明の一態様である撮像装置とその使用例を説明する図である。撮像装置100の撮像面は両面に配されている。すなわち、撮像装置100は、第1の撮像面(図1における撮像装置100の表面)と、当該第1の撮像面の逆を向いた第2の撮像面(図1における撮像装置100の裏面)と、を有する。撮像装置100の撮像面は両面に配されているため、撮像装置100を書籍110の所望のページに挟むと、二つの面を一度に撮像することができる。なお、ここで書籍110としては厚い書籍を例示しているが、これに限定されない。書籍110が薄い書籍である場合であっても、撮像装置100を書籍110の所望のページに挟むと、二つの面を一度に撮像することができる。
実施の形態1では、第1の受光素子及び第2の受光素子の双方が一方の面からのみ受光する形態について説明したが、第1の受光素子及び第2の受光素子の一方または双方が両面から受光する形態を採用してもよい。本実施の形態では、第1の受光素子及び第2の受光素子の少なくとも一方が両面から受光する形態について説明する。
実施の形態1及び実施の形態2では、第1の発光素子及び第2の発光素子がトップエミッション型またはボトムエミッション型である場合について説明したが、第1の発光素子及び第2の発光素子はデュアルエミッション型であってもよい。本実施の形態では、第1の発光素子及び第2の発光素子がデュアルエミッション型である形態について説明する。

- 第1の面と第2の面によって挟まれた、第1の発光素子と、第2の発光素子と、第1の受光素子と、第2の受光素子と、第1の遮光膜と、第2の遮光膜と、を有し、
前記第1の受光素子は、前記第1の面に面した第1の被写体を撮像する機能を有し、
前記第2の受光素子は、前記第2の面に面した第2の被写体を撮像する機能を有し、
前記第1の受光素子と、前記第2の受光素子とは、重ならず、
前記第1の遮光膜は、前記第2の面と、前記第1の受光素子との間に位置し、
前記第1の遮光膜は、前記第1の受光素子と重なり、前記第2の受光素子と重ならず、
前記第2の遮光膜は、前記第1の面と、前記第2の受光素子との間に位置し、
前記第2の遮光膜は、前記第2の受光素子と重なり、前記第1の受光素子と重ならず、
