図1は、インバーテッド構造を有する有機太陽電池100(以下、インバーテッド有機太陽電池)を概略的に示す図である。
図2は、インバーテッド構造を有する積層型有機太陽電池200(以下、インバーテッド積層型有機太陽電池)を概略的に示す図である。
図3aはノーマル型構造を有する有機発光ダイオード300a(以下、ノーマル型有機発光ダイオード)を概略的に示す図であり、図3bはインバーテッド構造を有する有機発光ダイオード300b(以下、インバーテッド型有機発光ダイオード)を概略的に示す図である。
[仕事関数測定結果]
以下の<表1>のように、比較例及び実施形態を準備し、ITO薄膜の上に比較例及び実施形態に該当する物質を各々コーティングして機能層を形成した。次に、ITO/機能層積層体の各々に対して仕事関数(work function)を測定した。実施形態に該当する物質はSigma-Aldrich社から入手したものであり、仕事関数測定はKelvin Probe Measurementを用いて遂行された。
図1に図示されたインバーテッド構造を有する有機太陽電池を製造し、かつ第1機能層130を前記<表1>に表した比較例及び実施形態によって各々製造した。
図2に図示されたインバーテッド構造を有する積層型有機太陽電池を製造し、かつ第1機能層220及び再結合層240の第3機能層242を実施形態3に該当するPEI(polyethyleneimine)を用いて製造した。
図3a及び図3bに図示された有機発光ダイオードを製造した。ノーマル型有機発光ダイオードでは、第2機能層340aを実施形態3に該当するPEI(polyethyleneimine)を用いて製造し、これを第2機能層340aがない場合(比較例2)と発光効率を比較した(図3a参照)。

Claims (4)
- 第1電極、第2電極、及び前記第1電極と第2電極との間に配置される1層以上の有機物層を含む有機電気素子であって、
前記有機物層は電子輸送層を含み、前記電子輸送層はポリアリルアミンまたはポリリジンを含有することを特徴とする、有機電子素子。 - 前記有機電子素子は、有機発光素子、有機燐光素子、有機太陽電池、及び有機トランジスタからなる群から選択されるものであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の有機電子素子。
- 前記有機太陽電池は、ノーマル型構造を有する有機太陽電池、ノーマル型構造を有する直列積層型有機太陽電池、ノーマル型構造を有する並列積層型有機太陽電池、インバーテッド構造を有する有機太陽電池、インバーテッド構造を有する直列積層型有機太陽電池、またはインバーテッド構造を有する並列積層型有機太陽電池であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の有機電子素子。
- 前記有機発光素子は、ノーマル型構造を有する有機発光素子、ノーマル型構造を有する直列積層型有機発光素子、ノーマル型構造を有する並列積層型有機発光素子、インバーテッド構造を有する直列積層型有機発光素子、またはインバーテッド構造を有する並列積層型有機発光素子であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の有機電子素子。
