Description
Claims (22)
- セルロースシートストックを20%から50%までの範囲の水分量まで湿らせる工程、
前記湿らせたセルロースシートを摩擦粉砕して湿ったパルプにする工程、
前記湿ったパルプをフラッシュ乾燥して4%から8%までの湿分量を有するセルロースフロキュール(綿毛状物)にする工程であって、前記フラッシュ乾燥が、フラッシュ乾燥機の供給原料入口における105℃から200℃までの範囲の温度およびフラッシュ乾燥機の出口における60℃から130℃までの範囲の温度で実施される工程、および
前記セルロースフロキュールをエステル化してセルロースエステル製品を提供する工程、
を含む方法。 - 前記セルロースシートを湿らせる工程が脱塩水を用いた処理を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記摩擦粉砕工程が、
前記セルロースシートストックを細断して小さい断片にする工程、および
前記小さい断片を摩擦粉砕して前記湿ったパルプにする工程
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記フラッシュ乾燥が低圧力の熱ガスで実施され、前記低圧力が2psig(115kPa−a)から4psig(129kPa−a)までの範囲にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フラッシュ乾燥工程が、直接的または間接的に加熱された空気を用いて実施される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記セルロースフロキュールをサイクロンセパレーターで分離する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記エステル化工程が、無水酢酸、無水プロピオン酸、無水酪酸、混合酸無水物またはこれらの組み合わせを用いた処理を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- モノマー単位当たり0.1から3までのアセテート基の置換度を有する酢酸セルロースを製造するために使用される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 二酢酸セルロース、三酢酸セルロース、繊維級酢酸セルロース、水溶性酢酸セルロースまたはこれらの組み合わせを製造するために使用される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記セルロースエステル製品から繊維トウを形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記セルロースエステル製品を、熱可塑性樹脂および熱硬化性樹脂から成る群から選ばれた1つを含む複合材料マトリクス中に組み入れることをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記繊維トウを、熱可塑性樹脂および熱硬化性樹脂から成る群から選ばれた1つを含む複合材料マトリクス中に組み入れることをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- (a)セルロースシートストックを20%から50%までの範囲の水分量に湿らせる工程、次に
(b)前記湿らされたセルロースシートを摩擦粉砕して湿ったパルプにする工程、次に
(c)前記湿ったパルプをフラッシュ乾燥して5%から8%までの湿分量を有するセルロースフロキュール(綿毛状物)にする工程であって、前記フラッシュ乾燥が、フラッシュ乾燥機の供給原料入口における105℃から200℃までの範囲の温度およびフラッシュ乾燥機の出口における60℃から130℃までの範囲の温度で実施される工程、次に
(d) 前記セルロースフロキュールをエステル化してセルロースエステル製品を準備する工程、および次に
(e)前記セルロースエステル製品から繊維トウを形成する工程
を含む方法。 - 前記セルロースシートを湿らせる工程が脱塩水を用いた処理を含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記摩擦粉砕工程が、
前記セルロースシートストックを細断して小さい断片にする工程、および
前記小さい断片を摩擦粉砕して前記湿ったパルプにする工程
を含む、請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記フラッシュ乾燥が低圧力の熱ガスで実施され、前記低圧力が2psig(115kPa−a)から4psig(129kPa−a)までの範囲にある、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記フラッシュ乾燥工程が、直接的または間接的に加熱された空気を用いて実施される、請求項13に記載の方法。
