Claims (6)
- 棒状の第1導電部材と、該第1導電部材が内側に設けられた略筒状の絶縁部材と、該絶縁部材により前記第1導電部材から電気的に絶縁されて、前記第1導電部材及び前記絶縁部材を収容する略筒状の第2導電部材とを有し、前記第1導電部材と前記第2導電部材との間に電位差が与えられると、内燃機関の燃焼室に露出する先端側において放電が生じ、前記燃焼室の混合気に点火する点火プラグ本体と、
前記点火プラグ本体に取り付けられ、外部から供給された高周波を前記燃焼室へ放射させるアンテナとを備えた点火プラグであって、
前記アンテナは、前記第2導電部材の先端面上において外周寄りの位置に配置されていることを特徴とする点火プラグ。 - 前記アンテナは、前記第2導電部材の周方向に延びていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記アンテナは、C字状または環状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の点火プラグ。
- 請求項1乃至5の何れか1つにおいて、
前記アンテナは、前記第2導線部材の表面上の絶縁層上に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1、2又は3の何れか1つに記載の点火プラグ。 - 燃焼室が形成された内燃機関本体と、
前記内燃機関本体に取り付けられた、請求項1乃至4の何れか1つに記載の点火プラグとを備え、
前記点火プラグの放電と同時期に、前記アンテナから前記燃焼室へ高周波を放射することを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 燃焼室が形成された内燃機関本体と、
前記内燃機関本体に取り付けられた、請求項1乃至4の何れか1つに記載の点火プラグとを備え、
混合気に着火した直後に、前記アンテナから前記燃焼室へ高周波を放射することを特徴とする内燃機関。
