Claims (15)
- 少なくとも1つのRAIDグループにデータを記憶するように構成された複数のストレージデバイスを含むデータ記憶媒体と、
前記データ記憶媒体に結合されたデータストレージコントローラと、
を備え、前記データストレージコントローラは、
前記データ記憶媒体を対象とする読み込み要求を受け取り、
前記複数のストレージデバイスのうちの、前記読み込み要求が対象とするデータを含む少なくとも第1のストレージデバイスを識別し、
前記複数のストレージデバイスのうちの前記第1のストレージデバイス以外の1又はそれ以上のデバイスから前記データを取得するように構成された再構成読み込み要求を生成するか否かについて判断することであって、前記判断は、読み込み応答レイテンシを優先するのか、システム負荷を優先するのかを示すプログラム可能な重み付けに少なくとも部分的に基づく、
ように構成される、
ことを特徴とするコンピュータシステム。 - 前記ストレージコントローラは、最近のI/O要求の履歴に少なくとも部分的に基づいて前記再構成読み込み要求を生成するように構成される、
