Description
円筒状成形具の素材である例えばアルミパイプ(A6063)等の内周面に、例えば、アルミナ等の研磨剤を吹き付けて、筒状部材の内周面をブラスト加工する。円筒状成形具mの内周面粗さは、研磨剤の粒径および形状、研磨剤の吐出圧、並びに研磨剤の吐出時間(加工時間)を調整することにより制御することができる。
円筒状成形具の素材の内周面に、必要に応じて、例えば、スプレーのり等のバインダーを塗布した上で、例えば、銅単体または銅とSUSとの混合物からなる金属粒子を塗着し、塗着した金属粒子を焼結する。円筒状成形具mの内周面粗さは、塗着する金属粒子の粒径および塗着量、並びに焼結温度を調整することにより制御することができる。なお、バインダーは焼結中に気化消散する。
筒状部材の内周面に、金属粒子又はポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)等の樹脂粒子を塗着して凹凸を形成してから、例えば、PTFE、テトラフルオロエチレン・パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体(PFA)、テトラフルオロエチレン・ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体(FEP)等のフッ素系コーティング剤を塗布して、内周面をフッ素樹脂でコーティングする。円筒状成形具mの内周面粗さは、塗着する粒子の粒径および形状、並びに粒子の塗着量を調整することにより制御することができる。なお、この方法で製造した円筒状成形具mは、内周面がフッ素樹脂でコーティングされているので、離型性が高く、また、ケバ立ちが生じにくい利点もある。
金属製の中実形状のシャフト(長さ250mm、直径6mm)の外周に、樹脂発泡体としてウレタンフォームよりなる弾性層を、外径15mm、長さ220mmの円柱形状に取り付け固定してなるローラ材を用意した。この弾性層のウレタンフォームは、材質がエステル系、平均セル径が270μm、硬度が80Ask−Fであった。

Claims (4)
- シャフトと、このシャフトの外周に形成された樹脂発泡体よりなる円柱形状の弾性層と、を有し、この弾性層が最終の外径よりも大きな外径を有しているローラ材を用意する工程と、
このローラ材の弾性層の外径よりも小さな内径を有する円筒状成形具内に、ローラ材の弾性層を圧縮させながら当該ローラ材を挿入する工程と、
このローラ材が挿入された円筒状成形具を、当該円筒状成形具の中心軸が垂直方向になる向きに保持する工程と、
円筒状成形具の中心軸が垂直方向になる向きに保持された状態で、ローラ材を円筒状成形具と共に加熱する工程と、
加熱後のローラ材を円筒状成形具から取り外すことで最終の外径の弾性層を有するローラを得る工程と
を備えることを特徴とするOAローラの製造方法。 - 加熱後のローラ材を、少なくとも100℃まで降温させたのちに円筒状成形具から取り外す請求項1記載のOAローラの製造方法。
- 前記樹脂発泡体が、ウレタンフォームである請求項1又は2記載のOAローラの製造方法。
- 前記円筒状成形具が、内周面に不規則な凹凸を有する請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のOAローラの製造方法。
