−米国特許出願公開第2010/0096249号明細書(Kovak)は、トレー又はストラクチャードパッキングが設置されている分割された交換塔を記載している。当該文献は、塔の2つのセクションへの弦壁による分割(同等の区画も同等でない区画も両方想定される)、及び更には円柱状の塔の中央で交差している放射状の壁による塔の3つのセクションへの分割を開示している。及び
−低純度及び高純度で製品酸素を製造するための、低圧の塔の下部と平行な追加の精留セクションの使用を記載している、米国特許第5669236号明細書(Billinghamら)。
上記少なくとも一対の収束壁又は壁部により囲まれているか又はこれらの間にある上記塔又は塔の区画の少なくとも1つの領域から、50°未満の波形角を有するストラクチャードパッキングを取り出す工程、及び

Kv=U[ρv/(ρL−ρv)0.5]
で定義し、式中、Uは塔における気相の空塔速度(m/s)であり、ρvは塔における気相の密度(kg/m3)であり、ρLは塔における液相の密度(kg/m3)である。HETPの値Kv及び圧力損失を最適化して、使用された塔の2つの異なる形態におけるパッキングの性能を比較した。
Claims (13)
- 少なくとも一対の収束壁又は壁部を有する塔又は塔の区画における少なくとも50°の波形角を有するストラクチャードパッキングの熱移動及び/又は物質移動プロセスにおいての使用であって、少なくとも一対の収束壁又は壁部により囲まれている前記塔又は塔の区画の少なくとも1つの領域内においての、ストラクチャードパッキングの使用。
- 熱移動又は物質移動プロセスのための装置であって、少なくとも一対の収束壁又は壁部を有する塔又は塔の区画を含み、かつ少なくとも一対の収束壁又は壁部により囲まれている前記塔又は塔の区画の少なくとも1つの領域内において少なくとも50°の波形角を有するストラクチャードパッキングを含む、熱移動又は物質移動プロセスのための装置。
- 熱移動及び/又は物質移動方法であって、少なくとも一対の収束壁又は壁部を有し、かつ塔又は塔の区画の少なくとも一対の収束壁又は壁部により囲まれている少なくとも1つの領域内において、少なくとも50°の波形角を有するストラクチャードパッキングを含む、塔又は塔の区画に1種又は複数種の流体を供給して、前記1種又は複数種の流体を前記ストラクチャードパッキングに接触させるようにし、熱移動及び/又は物質移動を生じさせることを含む、熱移動及び/又は物質移動方法。
- 熱移動及び/又は物質移動プロセスのための装置にストラクチャードパッキングを取り付ける方法であって、前記装置が少なくとも一対の収束壁又は壁部を有する塔又は塔の区画を含み、次の工程、すなわち、
少なくとも50°の波形角を有するストラクチャードパッキングを提供する工程、及び
少なくとも一対の収束壁又は壁部により囲まれている前記塔又は塔の区画の少なくとも1つの領域に前記ストラクチャードパッキングを取り付ける工程
を含む、ストラクチャードパッキング取付方法。 - 前記ストラクチャードパッキングの前記波形角が55°〜65°である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の使用、装置又は方法。
- 前記ストラクチャードパッキングの前記波形角が60°である、請求項5に記載の使用、装置又は方法。
- 前記少なくとも一対の収束壁又は壁部が120°以下の内角に向かって収束している、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の使用、装置又は方法。
- 前記塔の断面又は塔の区画の断面が少なくとも1つの角又は隅を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の使用、装置又は方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの角又は隅が120°以下の内角である、請求項8に記載の使用、装置又は方法。
- 前記塔又は塔の区画が、塔の断面を少なくとも2つの区画に分割して前記区画壁が前記塔の前記壁により収束して少なくとも1つの角を形成するようにする、塔内の少なくとも1つの区画壁を提供することにより円形の断面を有する塔内で形成された塔の区画である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の使用、装置又は方法。
- 前記塔の大きさが、前記塔が円形の断面である場合に直径0.5m超であるか、又は前記断面が別の形状である場合に同等の断面積より大きい、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の使用、装置又は方法。
- 前記物質移動プロセスが深冷分離プロセスである、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の使用、装置又は方法。
- 前記深冷分離プロセスが空気の窒素を富化した流、酸素を富化した流及びアルゴンを富化した流への分離プロセスである、請求項12に記載の使用、装置又は方法。
