で表される。即ち、X方向速度uは、X方向の時間的平均速度uAVとX方向の変動速度u′との和で表され、Y方向速度vは、Y方向の時間的平均速度vAVと、Y方向の変動速度v′との和で表される。

で表される。ここで、(u′・v′)AVは、X方向の変動速度u′とY方向の変動速度v′との積の時間的平均値であり、X方向の変動速度u′およびY方向の変動速度v′が所定の相関を持つ場合には、(u′・v′)AVはゼロにならないため、レイノルズ応力τが発生することになる。剥離領域における騒音源がレイノルズ応力τが最大になる位置で発生する乱流中の横渦であると想定し、X−Y平面内の流れ場のレイノルズ応力τを計算すれば、その値が最大になる部分を騒音源として特定することができる。
以上、本発明の実施の形態を説明したが、本発明はその要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の設計変更を行うことが可能である。

Claims (2)
- 自動車のフロントピラー(12)の段差部(14)において発生する空気流の剥離領域の空力騒音を低減する空力騒音低減装置であって、
前記段差部(14)は、フロントガラス(11)の前面から前方に突出する第1面(13a)と、前記第1面(13a)の前端から車幅方向外側に延びて前記剥離領域に臨む第2面(13b)とからなり、前記剥離領域におけるレイノルズ応力が最大になる位置を指向するように前記第2面(13b)に空気噴出口(13d)を開口させ、前記第1面(13a)に開口する空気吸入口(13c)を連通路(13e)を介して前記空気噴出口(13d)に連通させたことを特徴とする空力騒音低減装置。 - 前記空気噴出口(13d)からの空気の噴出速度は主流の流速の1/2以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の空力騒音低減装置。
