Claims (20)
- 刺激リードを製造する方法であって、

さらに、前記プレ電極組立体をチューブの形態に形成するステップを有し、前記チューブは、長手方向軸線を定め、前記隆起コネクタの各々は、前記長手方向軸線に対して一定の半径のところに配置され、前記一定の半径は、前記長手方向軸線に対する任意の前記セグメント電極の半径よりも大きい半径であり、
さらに、リード本体の少なくとも一部分を前記プレ電極組立体のセグメント電極の周りに形成するステップと、
前記プレ電極組立体及び前記リード本体の一部分を含む前記チューブを研削して、前記複数の隆起コネクタを除去し、前記複数のセグメント電極及び前記リード本体の一部分を残すステップと、を有する方法。 - プレ電極組立体を準備する前記ステップは、金属シートを打抜いて、前記複数のセグメント電極及び前記複数の隆起コネクタを形成するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 金属シートを打抜く前記ステップは、複数の隙間を前記セグメント電極と前記隆起コネクタの間に形成するステップを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 金属シートを打抜く前記ステップは、金属シートを打抜いて、前記複数のセグメント電極及び複数のコネクタを形成するステップと、次いで、前記複数のコネクタを曲げて、前記複数の隆起コネクタを形成するステップとを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- プレ電極組立体を準備する前記ステップは、前記複数のセグメント電極のうちの少なくとも1つから延びるタブを形成するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- プレ電極組立体をチューブの形態に形成する前記ステップは、前記プレ電極組立体を円筒体の周りに巻くステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 前記リード本体の一部分を形成する前記ステップは、前記セグメント電極の周りに前記リード本体の一部分を成形するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- リード本体の一部分を成形する前記ステップは、ポリマーチューブ材を前記プレ電極組立体の周りに配置するステップと、熱収縮チューブ材を前記ポリマーチューブ材の上に配置するステップと、前記ポリマーチューブ材を加熱して、前記ポリマーチューブ材を前記セグメント電極の周りにリフローさせるステップと、前記熱収縮チューブ材を除去するステップとを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- リード本体の一部分を形成する前記ステップは、ポリマー材料を前記コネクタの下に形成するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- チューブを研削する前記ステップは、前記プレ電極組立体及び前記リード本体の一部分を等直径リードに形成するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 刺激リードを形成するための組立体であって、
遠位端部及び近位端部を有するリード本体と、
前記リード本体の遠位端部の一部分の周りにチューブの形態に形成され、且つ、複数のセグメント電極及び複数の隆起コネクタを含むプレ電極組立体と、を有し、前記複数のセグメント電極及び前記複数の隆起コネクタは、同じ材料であり、
前記セグメント電極の各々は、少なくとも1つの他の前記セグメント電極に少なくとも1つの前記隆起コネクタによって結合され、前記チューブは、長手方向軸線を定め、
前記隆起コネクタの各々は、前記長手方向軸線に対する一定の半径のところに配置され、かかる一定の半径は、前記長手方向軸線に対する前記セグメント電極の任意の半径よりも大きい、組立体。 - さらに、前記リード本体の遠位端部の一部分の周りに配置された少なくとも1つのリング電極を有する、請求項15に記載の組立体。
- 前記複数のセグメント電極は、横列及び縦列の形態に配列され、前記セグメント電極の各々は、前記複数の隆起コネクタのうちの1つを用いて、隣接した横列又は隣接した縦列のセグメント電極に直接結合される、請求項15に記載の組立体。
- 前記複数のセグメント電極は、横列及び縦列の形態で配列され、前記セグメント電極の各々は、前記複数の隆起コネクタのうちの1つを用いて、隣接した横列のセグメント電極に直接結合され、前記複数の隆起コネクタのうちの別の1つを用いて、隣接した縦列のセグメント電極に直接結合される、請求項15に記載の組立体。
- 前記複数のセグメント電極は、横列及び縦列の形態で配列され、前記セグメント電極の各々は、前記複数の隆起コネクタのうちの少なくとも1つを用いて、隣接した各横列のセグメント電極に直接結合され、前記複数の隆起コネクタのうちの少なくとも別の1つを用いて、隣接した各縦列のセグメント電極に直接結合される、請求項15に記載の組立体。
- さらに、前記セグメント電極のうちの少なくとも1つから前記リード本体の中に延びるタブを有する、請求項15に記載の組立体。
