Description
Claims (13)
- ロータブレードの製造方法であって、
剛性ツールの少なくとも一部を複合材料強化材で覆うステップと、
前記複合材料強化材及び剛性ツールを覆う非剛性の真空バッグを密封するステップと、
前記真空バッグの内部の圧力が真空バッグの外部の圧力よりも低くなるように、真空バッグの内部と真空バッグの外部との間に圧力差を生じさせるステップと、
前記複合材料強化材をウェットアウト状態とするステップと、
樹脂を硬化させ、前端を後端に向けてテーパ形状とするステップと、を含み、
前記真空バッグの少なくとも一部が、それ自体に取り付けられており、
前記剛性ツールは、サンドイッチ状の複合材料強化材のコアであり、前記ツールの少なくとも一部が、硬化した複合材料強化材の内部に位置し、
前記サンドイッチ状の複合材料強化材は、その全ての辺の形状が前記剛性ツールにより規定され、
前記サンドイッチ状の複合材料強化材を作成するために、剛性の外部ツールは使用しないこと、
を特徴とするロータブレードの製造方法。 - 前記ロータブレードを覆う複合材料強化材はプリプレグ複合材料であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のロータブレードの製造方法。
- 前記ロータブレードを覆う複合材料強化材は乾燥複合材料強化材であり、硬化させるステップの前であって、かつ真空バッグを密封するステップの後に、樹脂を乾燥織布強化材中に含浸させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のロータブレードの製造方法。
- 前記真空バッグの内側と外側との間の圧力差により、真空バッグの注入口から液体樹脂を浸入させることで、樹脂を導入することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のロータブレードの製造方法。
- 前記液体樹脂の浸入を促進するための誘導手段を設けるステップを更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のロータブレードの製造方法。
- 誘導手段は、ツール表面の複数の凹部、シート状のプラスチック製メッシュ、又は複数本のプラスチック製材料のいずれかであることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のロータブレードの製造方法。
- 前記真空バッグを密封するステップの前に、複数枚のシート状の樹脂を乾燥織布強化材上に配置する形で樹脂を導入し、圧力差によりそれらに圧力がかかることで、複数枚のシート状の樹脂を乾燥織布強化材に強制的に含浸させることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のロータブレードの製造方法。
- 前記真空バッグ外の大気は1気圧であることを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のロータブレードの製造方法。
- ロータブレードの製造装置であって、
バッグの内部とバッグの外部との間の流体連通を可能にするポートを少なくとも一つ有する、密封可能な不透過性の真空バッグと、
前記バッグ内に配置される実質上剛性のツールと、
前記バッグの内部と外部との間に圧力差を発生させる手段と、を備え、
前記バッグ内の圧力は、バッグ外の圧力よりも低いことを特徴とする、ロータブレードの製造装置。 - 前記真空バッグ内に圧力差を発生させる手段は、真空バッグ内の圧力を下げる真空ポンプであることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のロータブレードの製造装置。
- 前記真空バッグの二つ目のポートは樹脂注入口であることを特徴とする、請求項9又は10に記載のロータブレードの製造装置。
- 前記ツールは、ポリマー発泡体、ポリマーハニカム、固形プラスチック、金属発泡体、金属ハニカム、グラファイト発泡体、ロータブレード発泡体、ロータブレードハニカム、又は天然物質からなることを特徴とする、請求項9から11のいずれか一項に記載のロータブレードの製造装置。
- 前記ロータブレードの製造装置は、システムの使用時に樹脂の浸入を促進するための誘導手段を更に備えることを特徴とする、請求項9から12のいずれか一項に記載のロータブレードの製造装置。
