Description

本明細書中に開示された実施形態は、組織を縫合するための医療装置に関し、より具体的には、低侵襲縫合時の縫合針の操作及び制御のための装置、そのような装置の製造方法及び組織を縫合するためのそのような装置を使用するための方法に関する。
本明細書中に例示された態様によれば、外科医によって行われる手動縫合動作を厳密にまねる又は模写する、患者の体内の開口を閉鎖するための医療装置が提供される。装置は、装置が外部の動力源を必要としない手づかみ縫合器具を提供するという点で、低侵襲手術中に組織を縫合するための外科医によって使用される従来の方法を超えたいくつかの利点を提供する。本開示の実施形態は、外科医が片手で操作するための相対的な容易さを提供する。
本開示の好適実施形態が詳細に説明され、その例が添付の図面に図示される。本実施形態の方法及び対応する工程は、システムの詳細な説明に関連して説明される。
従来の方法で手作業で縫合するのと同様に縫合の長さに沿って正確かつ均一にステッチが個々に引っ張られる連続した縫合で切開を閉じるためにハンドルを作動させる。使用者は、切開または複数の縫合糸の全長を延長する単一の縫合糸を用いることができる。従って、切開組織セグメントにまたがり、ハンドルを作動させる装置の配置によって、縫合装置は、使用者が、時間効率的に組織の切開を閉じるためにランニングステッチまたは遮断ステッチを置くことができる。当業者は、腹腔鏡手術を行うためのあらゆる従来の処置が、その装置で使用できることを認識されるであろう。

針本体は、概ね正方形の断面をもつ尾部分から概ね正方形の断面をもつ針の主要部分を分離する弧状断面をもつ一部分を含む、縫合装置。
[形態4] 形態1記載の縫合装置において、
針は、さらに、駆動歯止めの一部分を受け入れるためのその後端近傍の針の第3の切り欠きを画定する、縫合装置。
[形態5] 形態1記載の縫合装置において、
その長さに沿った弧状キールをさらに画定する、縫合装置。
Claims (3)
- 縫合針であって、
a)前端(302)及び後端(304)を有すると共に、縫合針の中央の曲がった軸線(X’)を画定する弧状本体であって、曲がった軸線(X’)は平面(P’)を画定し、弧状本体は、180度以上の弓状範囲を有する、弧状本体と、
b)前端(302)と後端(304)との間の間隙と、
c)弧状本体の内側半径方向領域(322)に沿って配置されると共に、前端(302)に隣接して配置された、第1の切り欠き(308)と、
d)弧状本体の内側半径方向領域(322)に沿って配置されると共に、第1の切り欠き(308)と後端(304)との間に配置された、第2の切り欠き(306)と、
e)前端(302)近くに弧状本体に沿って配置された、ドライブ爪の一部分を受け入れるための第3の切り欠き(310)であって、第3の切り欠き(310)は曲がった軸線(X’)によって画定された平面(P’)に平行である一部分(310b)を含む、第3の切り欠き(310)と、を備える、縫合針。 - 請求項1記載の縫合針において、
縫合針は、おおむね正方形の断面を含む、縫合針。 - 請求項2記載の縫合針において、
