Claims (10)
- 略管状の部材を有するプラズマ流遮蔽用の囲い部材であって、前記略管状の部材は、軸
線方向長さ、軸線方向に配向された細長い壁の開口部、プラズマ流の入口端部及びプラズ
マ流の出口端部、並びに前記囲い部材をプラズマ・ガンに取り付けるための取り付けバーを有し、該取り付けバーは、前記略管状の部材の外周面に設けられて、前記略管状の部材の軸線方向に延びた細長形状を有し、
前記開口部が前記プラズマ・ガンの一部分または前記プラズマ・ガンの粉末注入部材の
一部分を内部に受け入れるように適合されている、プラズマ流遮蔽用の囲い部材。 - 前記略管状の部材が、
ワイヤ・メッシュ部材、
穿孔された金属部材、及び
略円筒形の部材
のうちの少なくとも1つを含む請求項1に記載されたプラズマ流遮蔽用の囲い部材。 - 前記取り付けバーが、前記囲い部材を前記プラズマ・ガンに取り付けるための取り付け
組立体に取り付けるための取り付け部材を備える請求項1に記載されたプラズマ流遮蔽用
の囲い部材。 - 前記囲い部材を前記プラズマ・ガンに取り付けるための取り付け組立体をさらに備える
請求項1に記載されたプラズマ流遮蔽用の囲い部材。 - 前記囲い部材を前記プラズマ・ガンに移動可能に取り付けるための取り付け組立体をさ
らに備える請求項1に記載されたプラズマ流遮蔽用の囲い部材。 - 前記囲い部材が、
前記プラズマ・ガンに移動可能に取り付けられる、
前記プラズマ・ガンに枢動可能に取り付けられる、及び
前記プラズマ・ガンに取り外し可能に取り付けられる
のうちの少なくとも1つである請求項1に記載されたプラズマ流遮蔽用の囲い部材。 - 前記略管状の部材が、略円筒形であり、
前記軸線方向長さが、
前記略円筒形の直径よりも大きい、及び
およそ前記プラズマ流が前記プラズマ・ガンを出る点から始まり、前記プラズマ流に粉
末を注入する位置を過ぎた所定の距離まで、前記プラズマ流を遮蔽するようにサイズ決め
される
のうちの少なくとも1つである請求項1に記載されたプラズマ流遮蔽用の囲い部材。 - プラズマ・ガンのプラズマ流を保護する、閉じ込める又は遮蔽する方法であって、
前記プラズマ流の領域内に請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか1項に記載されたプラ
ズマ流遮蔽用の囲い部材を取り付ける段階を含み、
前記囲い部材が、
前記プラズマ流の一部、
前記プラズマ流の領域の一部
のうちの少なくとも1つを実質的に囲むようにサイズ決め及び構成される、方法。 - 前記プラズマ流の囲い部材を、前記プラズマ流の少なくとも一部を実質的に囲む少なく
とも1つの第1の位置から、前記第1の位置とは異なる少なくとも1つの第2の位置に移
動させる段階をさらに含み、前記移動が、
プラズマ・ガンの面、
静止しているプラズマ・ガン本体、
前記プラズマ・ガンの少なくとも1つの静止している粉末装入機、及び
前記プラズマ流の囲い部材が前記第1の位置にあるときに、前記プラズマ流の囲い部材
内に配置された少なくとも1つの粉末装入機の一部
のうちの少なくとも1つに対して行われる、請求項8に記載された方法。 - 前記取り付けが、
前記プラズマ流の囲い部材を前記プラズマ・ガンに移動可能に取り付けること、
前記プラズマ流の囲い部材を前記プラズマ・ガンに取り外し可能且つ移動可能に取り付
けること、及び
前記プラズマ流の囲い部材を前記プラズマ・ガンに枢動可能に取り付けること
のうちの少なくとも1つを含む請求項8に記載された方法。
