Claims (12)
- 第1基板と、
前記第1基板上に配され、第1電極層、有機発光層、及び第2電極層を備える有機発光素子と、
前記第1基板のエッジに配されたシーラントと、
前記シーラントを媒介として前記第1基板と合着し、前記第1基板に向かった面に面内スイッチング(IPS)モード電極層が形成された第2基板と、
前記IPSモード電極層の前記第1基板に向かう面に形成された第1配向膜と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に形成された空間に充填された液晶層と、
前記有機発光素子の前記第2基板に向かう面に形成され、高分子膜を含む第2配向膜と、
を備え、
前記第1電極層及び前記第2電極層に所定電圧が印加されれば、前記有機発光層の発光によって画像が具現される、平板ディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第1電極層及び前記第2電極層のうち少なくとも一つは、反射電極であり、前記IPSモード電極層は、透明電極であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記IPSモード電極層に所定電圧が印加されれば、前記液晶層の駆動によって画像が具現されることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記IPSモード電極層は、前記第2基板上に備えられた外部端子に連結されたことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第1電極層及び前記第2電極層は、前記第1基板上に備えられた外部端子に連結されたことを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第2配向膜は、前記第1配向膜と同一方向に配向されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第1及び第2配向膜は、前記第1基板または前記第2基板に対して45°の傾斜に配向されたことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第1及び第2配向膜は、ポリイミドを含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記シーラントは、ガラスフリットを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第2基板の前記第1基板に向かう面の反対面に線形偏光フィルムがさらに備えられたことを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第1電極層は反射電極、前記第2電極層は透明電極、前記IPSモード電極層は透明電極であることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第2基板と線形偏光フィルムとの間に粘着材がさらに備えられたことを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の平板ディスプレイ装置。
