Description
触媒A成分に対する触媒B成分の原子比は0.0005〜0.15であって、好ましくは0.005〜0.10、より好ましくは0.01〜0.05である。触媒A成分であるコバルト酸化物は主成分であり、触媒B成分として添加する金属元素のイオン半径が大きくなるほど良好な低温活性を発現することができる。原子比が0.15を超える場合は触媒中のコバルト酸化物の含有率が少なくなるため初期活性や長期耐久性が十分得られない場合がある。また原子比が0.0005未満である場合は、触媒B成分添加の効果が弱まり低温での反応速度が著しく低下する。
市販の炭酸コバルト(ナカライラスク社製、塩基性炭酸コバルト)40gに硝酸鉛6.4gを含む水溶液を加えてペースト状として十分に混合し、120℃の乾燥器で5時間乾燥してから、空気雰囲気中にて400℃で2時間焼成しPb/Co比が0.05の触媒Aを得た。
硝酸鉛の添加量を表1に示す原子比となるように変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして触媒B〜Dを得た。
実施例1において硝酸鉛の代わりに表1に示す原料を各原子比で添加した以外は実施例1と同様にして触媒E〜Gを得た。
実施例1おいて硝酸鉛の代わりに硝酸カリウムを添加した以外は実施例1と同様にして、表1に示す組成の触媒aを得た。
実施例1おいて硝酸鉛の代わりに硝酸セシウムを添加した以外は実施例1と同様にして、表1に示す組成の触媒bを得た。
実施例1において硝酸鉛を加えなかった以外は実施例1と同様にして触媒cを得た。
実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜3の触媒を粉末X線回折法(XRD)にて測定した回折パターンより2θが36.9度付近に検出されるCo3O4の主回折ピーク位置を読み取って結果を表1に示した。X線の光源はCuKαであり、管電圧が45kV、管電流が40mAで2θが5〜90度の範囲を25℃で測定した。
実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜3の触媒を以下の評価方法により活性試験を実施した。各触媒の粉末を加圧成形した後に顆粒状に破砕し0.6〜1.18mmにて分級したものを試料として触媒1mlを内径10mmのSUS製反応管に充填した。下記ガス組成の反応ガスを空間速度10,000hr−1に調整して反応温度350℃にて亜酸化窒素分解活性を測定した。
N2O:300ppm、NO:50ppm、CO2:300ppm、O2:16%、H2O:10%、N2:バランス
触媒層の入口側及び出口側における合成ガス中の亜酸化窒素濃度をガスクロマトグラフ(島津製作所製、GC8A、カラム:porapakQ)にて測定し、下式によりN2O分解率を算出した。
N2O分解率(%)=100×(入口側N2O濃度−出口側N2O濃度)/入口側N2O濃度
上記合成ガスを導入してから1時間経過後及び20時間経過後の亜酸化窒素分解性能を表1に示した。
Claims (4)
- 触媒A成分としてコバルトの酸化物及び触媒B成分として11〜15族からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種の金属元素の化合物を含有する亜酸化窒素分解用触媒であって、触媒A成分に対する触媒B成分の原子比が0.005〜0.10であり、かつ触媒B成分の当該金属元素のイオン半径が1.00〜1.50Åの範囲であることを特徴とする亜酸化窒素分解用触媒。
- 請求項1記載の亜酸化窒素分解用触媒は粉末X線回折法にて測定した回折パターンにおいて、前記触媒A成分であるコバルトの酸化物が四三酸化コバルト(Co3O4)の結晶構造を有しており、かつ触媒B成分の単独酸化物に由来する回折ピークが検出されない請求項1記載の亜酸化窒素分解用触媒。
- 請求項1記載の亜酸化窒素分解用触媒の製造方法であって触媒A成分のコバルト酸化物の原料として炭酸コバルト(塩基性炭酸コバルトを含む)と、触媒B成分の原料として触媒B成分である11〜15族からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種の金属元素を含有する金属塩水溶液と、を混合して、乾燥してから焼成することによって得られることを特徴とする請求項1記載の亜酸化窒素分解用触媒の製造方法。
- 請求項1又は2記載の亜酸化窒素分解触媒を用いて、NO及び/又はNO2が含まれる亜酸化窒素含有ガスを処理することを特徴とする亜酸化窒素含有ガスの処理方法。
