Description
Claims (15)
- プレート形状の三つ以上である複数のバッテリーセルがモジュールケース中に連続的に積み重ねられた構造に形成されたバッテリーモジュールであって、
前記複数のバッテリーセルのそれぞれが、カソード/セパレータ/アノード構造の電極アセンブリーを備え、
前記電極アセンブリーが、樹脂層及び金属層を包含するラミネートシートから形成されたバッテリーケース中に取り付けられ、
複数の放熱部材が、前記複数のバッテリーセルの間の界面に配置され、
前記複数の放熱部材を相互に接続して一体化する熱交換部材が、前記複数のバッテリーセルの積重構造の片側に取り付けられており、前記複数のバッテリーセルの充電及び放電の際に前記複数のバッテリーセルから発生した熱が前記熱交換部材により除去され、
前記複数のバッテリーセルのそれぞれが、フレーム型のバッテリーカートリッジ中に取り付けられており、
前記バッテリーカートリッジが、各バッテリーセルの少なくとも1つの側部が露出している状態で、各バッテリーセルの縁部を固定するための、少なくとも一対のプレート形状のフレームを備えており、
各フレームが、各フレームの外側表面に、前記複数の放熱部材のそれぞれを各バッテリーセルの前記露出している側部に緊密に接触する様式で固定するための弾性圧迫部材を備えており、
前記ラミネートシートが、熱溶接可能な内側樹脂層、遮蔽金属層、及び耐久性のある外側樹脂層を包含する構造に形成されている、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記弾性圧迫部材が、各フレームの前記外側表面の上側及び下側及び/又は左側及び右側に取り付けられている、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 各バッテリーセルの前記露出している側部が、対応する前記フレームから突き出た状態で、各バッテリーセルが前記フレームに取り付けられており、
前記弾性圧迫部材が、各バッテリーセルの前記露出している側部の突き出た高さを超える高さで前記フレームの前記外側表面に取り付けられている、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記弾性圧迫部材が、圧迫された時に弾性圧迫力を与える重合体材料から製造されている、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 各フレームの外側表面に複数の溝が設けてあり、
前記弾性圧迫部材が前記複数の溝のそれぞれの中にある、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 各放熱部材が、高い熱伝導率を示す金属プレートから形成されている、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記熱交換部材が、高い熱伝導率を示す金属材料から製造されている、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記複数の放熱部材が、各放熱部材の少なくとも一部が前記積み重ねられた複数のバッテリーセルの外側に露出した状態で前記複数のバッテリーセル間の界面に配置され、
前記露出した部分が、前記複数のバッテリーセルの対応する側部に向けて屈曲している、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記熱交換部材が、前記放熱部材の屈曲部分の上に取り付けられている、請求項8に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記熱交換部材が、一個以上の、中に冷却剤を流すための冷却剤通路を備える、請求項8に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記熱交換部材が、
底部に前記放熱部材が堅く接続された基礎部と、
前記基礎部に接続され、長手方向に通過するよう形成された前記冷却剤通路を有する、対向する側部と、
前記対向する側部間で前記基礎部から上向きに伸びる複数の放熱フィンと
を有する構造に形成されている、請求項10に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記熱交換部材が、前記モジュールケースの上側末端に取り付けられている、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記モジュールケースが、前記モジュールケースの上側末端に、前記熱交換部材を受け容れるのに十分なサイズを有する窪み部を備えており、
前記窪み部に取り付けた熱交換部材が、前記モジュールケースの上側末端の高さ以下の高さを有しているものである、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 所定の出力及び容量に基づいて、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の2個以上のバッテリーモジュールを備える、高出力及び大容量の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーパックが、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車又はプラグ−インハイブリッド電気自動車用の電力供給源として使用される、請求項14に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。
