Description
濾過効率試験―濾過性能は、ASTM F2638−07(サロゲート微生物バリアとしての多孔質包装材料の性能を測定するためにエアロゾル濾過を使用するための標準試験方法)によって指示される方法を用いて1μmの攻撃について求めた。
この実施例は、15回の洗濯後の積層体の構造的整合性を例示する。2枚のスパンボンドポリプロピレン不織布の外層が公称繊維サイズ300nmの6g/m2ナノファイバーアレルゲンバリア層に超音波接合された三層積層体を作製した。
実施例1の項目1−1を繰り返したが、超音波接合の前にスパンボンドポリプロピレン不織布層の一方をポリコットン平織布(65%PET/355cc綿)で置き換えた。接合パターンおよびアレルゲンバリア層は同一であり、またもう一方の外層は18g/m2の坪量を有するスパンボンドポリプロピレン不織布層であった。試験した場合、この積層体は洗濯前にはすぐれた濾過効率を有したが、洗濯時に層間はく離を起こし、さらなる試験を不可能にした。
間隔を10.7mm離した2mm直径の接合点を用いた改変超音波接合パターンによることを除いて、実施例1−Aを繰り返した。試験した場合、この積層体は洗濯前にはすぐれた濾過効率を有したが、洗濯時に層間はく離を起こし、さらなる試験を不可能にした。
アレルゲンバリア層の坪量を6g/m2に対して5g/m2に減らしたことを除いて実施例1の項目1−1を繰り返した。これを比較項目2−Aと呼ぶ。次いで超音波接合の前にスパンボンドポリプロピレン不織布層の一方をポリコットン平織布(65%PET/355cc綿)で置き換えたことを除いて、第二の積層体を項目2−Bとして作製した。次いで15回の洗濯の前後のこれらの試料について濾過効率、通気度、および構造的整合性を評価した。表2に示すように、2種類のスパンボンド不織布の外層を用いて作製した試料は、15回の洗濯の後の十分な構造的整合性を有したが、十分な濾過性能を保持しなかった。1枚のポリコットン織布の外層および1枚のスパンボンド不織布の外層を有する試料は、15回洗濯した場合に層間はく離を起こし、また構造的整合性試験に合格しなかった。
項目2−Dは、辺の長さが45mmの菱形またはダイヤモンド形を形成する一連の接合点からなり、それらダイヤモンド形の辺の内部に直径1.5mmのサイズの、間隔を直線上で6mm離した接合点を有するダイヤモンド形キルトパターンを使用した。両試料とも15回洗濯した場合に局部的層間はく離を示し、また構造的整合性試験に合格しなかった。
次に、本発明の態様を示す。
1. アレルゲンバリア構造体として有用な積層体であって、
順に、
a)第一の熱可塑性ポリマーから作られる繊維を含み、少なくとも15g/m 2 の坪量を有する第一の不織布層、
b)6〜10g/m 2 の坪量を有し、かつ第二の熱可塑性ポリマーから作られ、100〜450nmの平均直径を有する繊維からなる不織布アレルゲンバリア層、および
c)第一の熱可塑性ポリマーから作られた繊維を含み、少なくとも15g/m 2 の坪量を有する第二の不織布層
を含み、
前記層a)、b)、およびc)が、隣接した接合点間の最大間隔が2〜5mmの状態に、複数個の一定の間隔をあけた熱接合点で相互に熱的に点接合され、かつ
前記積層体が、1.6L/分までの気流における1μm粒子の攻撃に対して、15回の洗濯後にASTM F2638−07によって測定される95%以上の濾過効率を有する、積層体。
2. 前記隣接した接合点間の間隔が3〜4mmである、上記1に記載の積層体。
3. 前記複数個の熱接合点が、1mm〜2mmの有効直径を有する点を含む、上記1に記載の積層体。
4. 前記第一の熱可塑性ポリマーが、前記第二の熱可塑性ポリマーと同一である、上記1に記載の積層体。
5. 前記第一の熱可塑性ポリマーが、ポリアミド、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステル、およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるポリマーである、上記1に記載の積層体。
6. 前記第二の熱可塑性ポリマーが、ポリアミド、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステル、およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるポリマーである、上記1に記載の積層体。
7. 前記第二の熱可塑性ポリマーが、ポリウレタン、ポリオレフィン、およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるポリマーである、上記1に記載の積層体。
8. 層a)またはc)が、少なくとも18g/m 2 の坪量を有する、上記1に記載の積層体。
9. 層a)およびc)が、少なくとも18g/m 2 の坪量を有する、上記1に記載の積層体。
10. 前記積層体の前記通気度が5立方フィート/分以上である、上記1に記載の積層体。
11. 前記積層体の前記通気度が、25立方フィート/分以上である、上記10に記載の積層体。
12. 前記第一の熱可塑性ポリマーが、前記第二の熱可塑性ポリマーよりも少なくとも30℃高い融点を有する、上記1に記載の積層体。
13. 前記第二の熱可塑性ポリマーが、前記第一の熱可塑性ポリマーよりも少なくとも30℃高い融点を有する、上記1に記載の積層体。
14. 前記第一の熱可塑性ポリマーと前記第二の熱可塑性ポリマーが、同一または実質上同一の融点を有する、上記1に記載の積層体。
Claims (1)
- アレルゲンバリア構造体として有用な積層体であって、
順に、
a)第一の熱可塑性ポリマーから作られる繊維を含み、少なくとも15g/m2の坪量を有する第一の不織布層、
b)6〜10g/m2の坪量を有し、かつ第二の熱可塑性ポリマーから作られ、100〜450nmの平均直径を有する繊維からなる不織布アレルゲンバリア層、および
c)第一の熱可塑性ポリマーから作られた繊維を含み、少なくとも15g/m2の坪量を有する第二の不織布層
を含み、
第二の熱可塑性ポリマーが第一の熱可塑性ポリマーよりも少なくとも30℃高い融点を有し、
前記層a)、b)、およびc)が、隣接した接合点間の最大間隔が2〜5mmの状態に、複数個の一定の間隔をあけた熱接合点で相互に熱的に点接合され、かつ
前記積層体が、1.6L/分までの気流における1μm粒子の攻撃に対して、15回の洗濯後にASTM F2638−07によって測定される95%以上の濾過効率を有する、
積層体。
