Description
Claims (13)
- 複数の繊維を含み係合表面を有する基材と、前記基材の前記係合表面にある複数の結合剤粒子と、複数の摩擦改質粒子と、を含む摩擦材料であって、
前記摩擦改質粒子が前記結合剤粒子よりも小さい粒子サイズを有し、摩擦改質粒子対結合剤粒子の重量比が50/50〜90/10の範囲内にあり、
複数の前記摩擦改質粒子が各々の結合剤粒子に結合させられており、
前記結合剤粒子が1.8〜40ミクロンの範囲内のサイズを有する、
摩擦材料。 - 前記結合剤粒子が流動性未硬化粒子を含む、請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記結合剤粒子が概して球形形状を有する、請求項1〜2のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記結合剤粒子が不規則な形状を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記結合剤粒子が硬化されている、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記結合剤粒子が、シリコーンポリマー、フェノールポリマー、ポリアミドポリマーまたはポリイミドポリマーの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記結合剤粒子がポリマーを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記摩擦改質粒子が、炭素粒子、酸化物粒子、またはシリカもしくはカシュー油改質粒子の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記摩擦改質粒子が1〜25ミクロンの範囲内のサイズを有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記結合剤粒子がフェノール樹脂を含み、前記摩擦改質粒子がシリカを含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記結合剤粒子が硬化される、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記摩擦改質粒子が前記結合剤粒子に結合させられ、前記摩擦改質粒子が結合させられた前記結合剤粒子が前記基材の前記係合表面の2〜30パーセントを覆っている、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
- 前記複数の結合剤樹脂粒子、およびそれに結合させられた複数の摩擦改質粒子が、前記係合表面に離散的に配置され、前記係合表面に多孔性を提供している、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材料。
