Claims (3)
- 陣痛及び分娩後の患者の子宮収縮不全を治療するシステムの作動方法において、
前記システムは、プログラムされた刺激タスク及び/又はユーザ定義の刺激タスクを実行する制御モジュールと、前記制御モジュールにより制御され刺激電流を生成する電流源と、前記患者において緊張性子宮収縮を生成するために前記患者の子宮、子宮頸部、膣壁又は腹壁に連結されて前記患者に刺激電流を与える一以上の刺激電極と、を有し、
前記電流源が、約5.0ヘルツよりも高い周波数の電気刺激電流信号であって、前記一以上の刺激電極を用いて、子宮の緊張性収縮を生成するために、前記患者の子宮頸部、膣又は子宮に与えるための電気刺激電流信号を生成するステップと、を含み、
前記制御モジュールが、前記子宮頸部、前記膣又は前記子宮において前記電気刺激電流信号が与えられた組織の組織損傷をなくす又は減少させるために、該電気刺激電流信号が同時に正弦関数、二相性及び一定最大電流に制限されたものとなるよう、前記電気刺激電流信号を調整するステップをさらに含む
ことを特徴とするシステムの作動方法。 - 前記電流源が、前記子宮の異なる部分に別々に、同時に又は連続的に与える前記電気刺激電流信号を生成するステップをさらに含み、
前記電気刺激電流信号は、複数の電流信号を含み、
前記子宮の筋収縮を別々に、同時に又は連続的に制御するために、前記複数の電流信号のうちの少なくともいくつかが異なる刺激電流パラメータを含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステムの作動方法。 - 前記電流源が、電流の大きさが約0.01ミリアンペアから約40.00ミリアンペアの間でかつ電流パルストレイン期間が約0.01秒から約30分の間である前記電気刺激電流信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のシステムの作動方法。
