Description

他の実施例において、竹製織物(自然由来の竹から得られるビスコース100%から製造された編物)の断片(50cm×30cm)を、2%次亜塩素酸ナトリウムの10%水性アクリルコーティング/接着剤溶液を含有する水溶液100mlに浸漬し、100%湿潤ピックアップになるまでパッドした。この織物上に、2%水性ポリウレタンおよび1%エポキシド/メラミン樹脂を含有する水溶液5mlを噴霧した。この織物を、一定重量になるまで、真空下40℃で乾燥させた。ヨウ素滴定試験によって、この処理後、この織物が約580ppmの次亜塩素酸ナトリウムを含有していたことが示された。室温大気への2ヵ月の暴露後、約540ppmを超える次亜塩素酸ナトリウムが残存した。これは、最初に保持された次亜塩素酸ナトリウムの約90%超が残存したことを意味する。従って、この織物は、次亜塩素酸ナトリウムの貯蔵および送達のために使用可能である。
300〜1200μmの粒径および10nm(100Å)の平均細孔径を有するポリ(4−エチルスチレン−co−ジビニルベンゼン)多孔性ビーズ、10gを、10%次亜塩素酸ナトリウムを含有する次亜塩化ナトリウム水溶液500mLに添加した。1gのポリエチレングリコール(MW:5000)を混合物に添加し、混合物を室温で24時間撹拌し、次亜塩素酸ナトリウムを多孔性ビーズの細孔に吸着させた。ビーズを濾過によって回収し、一晩、暗条件下の真空デシケータ中で乾燥させた。これらのビーズは、次亜塩素酸ナトリウム含有ビーズとして定義される。
Claims (7)
- 貯蔵安定性を有する次亜ハロゲン化物塩を送達するための方法であって、
材料を、ポリエチレングリコールエポキシドおよびメラミンを含む第1の水溶液に接触させる工程と、
前記第1の水溶液を前記材料上で乾燥させる工程と、
前記材料を、次亜ハロゲン化物塩を含む第2の水溶液に接触させる工程と、
前記第2の水溶液を前記材料上で乾燥させる工程とを備え、
得られる材料は、3ヵ月間の大気接触の後、前記材料によって最初に維持された次亜ハロゲン化物塩の少なくとも90%を保持し、
前記材料は、織物、綿、竹、セルロース材料、又はセルロース及び合成繊維の混合物を含み、
前記第1の水溶液は、100ミリリットルの溶液に対して、0.1〜30gのポリエチレングリコールエポキシド、および0.01〜10gのメラミンを含み、
前記第2の水溶液は、更に、水性樹脂又は接着剤を含む方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記材料を第1の水溶液に接触させる工程は、前記材料を前記第1の水溶液に浸漬させるか、前記材料を前記第1の水溶液で噴霧する工程を含み、
前記材料を第2の水溶液に接触させる工程は、前記材料を前記第2の水溶液に浸漬させるか、前記材料を前記第2の水溶液で噴霧する工程を含む方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記第2の水溶液中の次亜ハロゲン化物塩は、次亜塩素酸塩および次亜臭化物塩の少なくとも1つを含む方法。 - 抗菌性材料であって、
材料をポリエチレングリコールエポキシドおよびメラミンの水溶液に接触させることにより、前記材料上に形成された第1のコーティングと、
前記第1のコーティング上に形成された次亜ハロゲン化物を含む第2のコーティングとを備え、
前記第2のコーティングは、3ヵ月間の大気接触の後、最初に維持された次亜ハロゲン化物塩の少なくとも90%を保持し、
前記材料は、綿、セルロース材料、セルロース/合成繊維の混合物、若しくは、ヒドロキシル、アミノ、アミド又はカルボキシレート官能基を含まない他の織物を含み、
前記第1のコーティングは、100ミリリットルの溶液に対して、0.1〜30gのポリエチレングリコールエポキシド、および0.01〜10gのメラミンを含む溶液から形成される抗菌材料。 - 請求項4記載の抗菌性材料において、
前記第2のコーティングは、前記第1のコーティングを次亜ハロゲン化物塩の水溶液に接触させることにより形成される抗菌性材料。 - 請求項4記載の抗菌性材料において、
前記第2のコーティングは、次亜ハロゲン化物塩を含む抗菌性材料。 - 請求項6記載の抗菌性材料において、
前記次亜ハロゲン化物塩は、1種またはそれ以上の次亜塩素酸ナトリウム、次亜塩素酸カルシウム、次亜臭化ナトリウム、次亜臭化カルシウムおよびそれらの組み合わせを含む抗菌性材料。
