Claims (4)
- 下水汚泥の流通を許容する乾燥空間が形成されて該下水汚泥を該乾燥空間内の流通中に減水して乾燥汚泥として排出する乾燥装置と、該乾燥装置から乾燥汚泥を受けてこれを自燃させてガス化させるガス化炉装置とを有する下水汚泥の乾燥ガス化装置において、ガス化炉装置からの可燃ガスを燃焼した排ガスを受けてこれと熱媒体としての水蒸気との熱交換により該水蒸気を加熱して過熱水蒸気とする熱交換器と、該過熱水蒸気を該熱交換器と乾燥装置との間で循環せしめる循環管路とを有し、乾燥装置は乾燥空間内で下水汚泥と水蒸気とが直接接触する直接乾燥装置を有し、上記循環管路が熱交換後の過熱水蒸気を上記直接乾燥装置の乾燥空間へ放出するよう接続されており、下水汚泥と接触後の過熱水蒸気を再び熱交換器へ帰還せしめるようになっており、さらに、乾燥装置は、直接乾燥装置に加え、間接乾燥装置をも有し、該間接乾燥装置は、循環管路から分岐管を経て熱交換後の高温な水蒸気の一部を受けて該水蒸気と外部からの上水とを熱交換して該上水から高温な上水水蒸気を生成する蒸発缶と接続されており、該上水水蒸気が該間接乾燥装置内の下水汚泥を間接的に加熱することを特徴とする下水汚泥の乾燥ガス化装置。
- ガス化炉装置と熱交換器との間に熱エネルギー回収装置が設けられていて、熱エネルギー回収装置がガス化炉装置からの可燃ガスを受けてその熱エネルギーを回収し、熱エネルギー回収後の排ガスが熱交換器で熱媒体としての水蒸気と熱交換を行なうこととする請求項1に記載の下水汚泥の乾燥ガス化装置。
- 熱エネルギー回収装置は、ガス化炉装置からの可燃ガスを受けて該可燃ガスにより駆動されるガスエンジン発電機であり、発電後の排ガスが熱交換器へもたらされることとする請求項2に記載の下水汚泥の乾燥ガス化装置。
- 乾燥装置は、直接乾燥装置と間接乾燥装置とが並列に設置されていて、互いに別個に下水汚泥を受けてこれを減水して乾燥汚泥とした後に、それぞれの乾燥汚泥を合流してガス化炉装置へ供給するように該ガス化炉装置に接続されていることとする請求項1に記載の下水汚泥の乾燥ガス化装置。
