Description
実施例1:針葉樹パルプの切断
乾燥針葉樹(SW)パルプ(主にマツからの、平均繊維長2.25mmのミル乾燥パルプ)を、スロット寸法6mmおよび2mmを使用して、それぞれ1.0mmおよび0.6mmの平均繊維長に切断した。パルプを2回処理した。カットパルプを、比エッジ負荷0.5J/mで広葉樹パルプのようにリファイニングした。
実施例2:ユーカリパルプの切断
乾燥ユーカリ(euca)パルプ(平均繊維長0.85mmのミル乾燥パルプ)を、スロット寸法2mmおよび1mmを使用して、それぞれ0.5mmおよび0.35mmの平均繊維長に切断した。パルプは1回処理した。基準パルプとカットパルプのどちらも、比エッジ負荷0.4J/mでリファイニングした。カットユーカリパルプは、より良好な脱水(WRVおよびSR数がより低い)およびより高い嵩を明らかに有する(図4)。光学的性質(光散乱、不透明性、および輝度)は、基準パルプと違って、リファイニングにおいて減少しない(図5)。強度特性(例えば、引張剛性指数)は、カットパルプに関してはより低いが、必要な場合、より強力なリファイニングによって、部分的に補うことができる。通常のユーカリパルプの代わりにカットユーカリパルプを使用することによって、いくつかの紙製品の品質を向上させ、抄紙機の脱水を向上させることが可能である。
実施例3:カット繊維とリファイニング済みSW繊維との間の比較
実施例4:板の上層のカバパルプとカットSWパルプとの交換
動的シート成形機で作製したシートを用いて、三層板を模擬試験した。基準シートでは、上層は、70%のカバパルプおよび30%のSWパルプを含んでいた。カバパルプを比リファイニングエネルギー15kWh/tでリファイニングして、SR数を約20にした。さらに、上層のカバパルプを0.6mmの平均繊維長を有するカットSWパルプと交換したシートを作製した。カット針葉樹パルプをカバパルプより高い比リファイニングエネルギー(100kWh/t)でリファイニングして、カバパルプに近い強度特性を得た。
Claims (14)
- セルロース系繊維パルプを含むストックを調製し、該ストックからウェブを形成する、紙または板紙を作製する方法であって、カットパルプが、基本セルロース系繊維パルプを少なくとも25%のコンシステンシーで切断することによって調製され、その結果、前記基本パルプの平均繊維長が25%を超えて減少し、前記カットパルプのSR数が前記基本パルプのSR数より多くとも20%までで高くなることと、前記カットパルプが、前記ストックの調製において原材料として使用されることとを特徴とする、方法。
- 前記カットパルプの量が、前記ストック中のセルロース系繊維パルプの総量の少なくとも5重量%である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ウェブが、湿潤形成プロセスによって形成される、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記カットパルプが、前記ストックの調製前にリファイニングされる、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- セルロース系繊維パルプを含む紙または板紙であって、該紙または板紙が、カットパルプを含み、該カットパルプが、基本セルロース系繊維パルプを少なくとも25%のコンシステンシーで切断することによって調製されており、その結果、前記基本パルプの平均繊維長が25%を超えて減少し、前記カットパルプのSR数が前記基本パルプのSR数より多くとも20%までで高くなるようになることを特徴とする、紙または板紙。
- カットパルプが、基本セルロース系繊維パルプを少なくとも25%のコンシステンシーで切断することによって調製され、その結果、前記基本パルプの平均繊維長が25%を超えて減少し、前記カットパルプのSR数が前記基本パルプのSR数より多くとも20%までで高くなるようになることを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法において使用するための、または請求項5に記載の紙または板紙において使用するためのパルプ。
- 前記基本パルプを少なくとも40%のコンシステンシーで切断する、請求項6に記載のパルプ。
- 前記カットパルプの濾水度値が、基本パルプの濾水度値と同じである、請求項6または7に記載のパルプ。
- 前記カットパルプのSR数が、前記基本パルプのSR数より多くとも10%までで高い、請求項6から8のいずれか一項に記載のパルプ。
- 前記カットパルプの保水値が、前記基本パルプの保水値と同じまたはより低い、請求項6から9のいずれか一項に記載のパルプ。
- 前記カットパルプの嵩が、前記基本パルプの嵩と同じまたはより高い、請求項6から10のいずれか一項に記載のパルプ。
- 前記カットパルプの繊維のフィブリル化度が、前記基本パルプの繊維のフィブリル化度と同じである、請求項6から11のいずれか一項に記載のパルプ。
- 前記基本パルプが針葉樹パルプであり、そのカットパルプの平均繊維長が0.2〜1.8mmであるか、または前記基本パルプが広葉樹パルプであり、そのカットパルプの平均繊維長が0.2〜0.8mmであるか、または前記基本パルプが針葉樹パルプと広葉樹パルプの混合物である、請求項6から12のいずれか一項に記載のパルプ。
- 前記基本パルプがバージン繊維パルプを含有しているパルプであるか、または前記基本パルプが損紙パルプである、請求項6から13のいずれか一項に記載のパルプ。
