Description
図1は、本発明の実施形態にかかるレーザー光を用いた接合方法によって接合された接合品1を示すものである。接合品1は、第1管部材10と、第1管部材10よりも小径の第2管部材20とが、中間部材30により接合されてなるものである。接合時には、詳細は後述するが、レーザー光を中間部材30に照射して加熱し、溶融状態にした後、冷却して固化させる。この接合品1は、例えば、流体が流れる配管等として用いられるものである。
図5及び図6は、本発明の参考例にかかる接合品1を示すものである。この参考例の接合品1は、実施形態のものに対し第2管部材20の形状が異なっている。以下、実施形態と異なる部分について詳細に説明する。

Claims (3)
- レーザー光を透過する樹脂製の第1管部材と、該第1管部材に挿入される樹脂製の第2管部材とを用意し、上記第2管部材における上記第1管部材に挿入される部分の外周面に形成された段部に、レーザー光を吸収するエラストマーからなるレーザー光接合用中間部材を嵌め、その後、上記第1管部材に上記第2管部材を挿入して、上記第1管部材の内周面と上記第2管部材の外周面との間に上記中間部材を配置し、上記第1管部材の内周面と上記第2管部材の外周面とで上記中間部材を所定量圧縮する接合準備工程と、
上記接合準備工程の後、上記第1管部材の外側からレーザー光を照射して上記中間部材を加熱することによって上記第1及び第2管部材を上記中間部材を介して接合する接合工程とを備えていることを特徴とするレーザー光を用いた接合方法。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザー光を用いた接合方法において、
接合準備工程では、滑り性が付与された中間部材を第1管部材の内周面と第2管部材の外周面との間に配置することを特徴とするレーザー光を用いた接合方法。 - 請求項1または2に記載のレーザー光を用いた接合方法において、
接合準備工程では、第2管部材の外周面に沿って環状に延びる帯型の中間部材を、第1管部材の内周面と第2管部材の外周面との間に配置することを特徴とするレーザー光を用いた接合方法。
