Claims (5)
- 車輪とともに回転するディスクを挟んで摩擦力を付与するキャリパブレーキ装置であって、
車体に支持されるキャリパ本体と、
前記キャリパ本体に対して進退し、前記ディスクに摺接して摩擦力を付与可能な制輪子と、
前記制輪子を作動流体の圧力によって前記ディスクに押圧する押圧機構と、
前記制輪子を前記キャリパ本体に支持するアジャスタと、を備え、
前記アジャスタは、
前記キャリパ本体に対して進退可能に設けられ、前記制輪子を前記キャリパ本体に支持するアンカピンと、
前記制輪子を前記ディスクから離間する方向に付勢する戻しばねと、
前記アンカピンの背面に画成されて作動流体が導かれる背圧室と、を備えることを特徴とするキャリパブレーキ装置。 - 前記背圧室へは、前記押圧機構における作動流体の一部が導かれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のキャリパブレーキ装置。
- 前記押圧機構は、
前記制輪子を前記ディスクに押圧するピストンと、
前記ピストンが内部を摺動するシリンダと、
前記シリンダ内に空気室を画成し、当該空気室における空気圧の変化によって変形して前記制輪子に前記ディスクへの押圧力を印加するダイヤフラムと、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のキャリパブレーキ装置。 - 前記アジャスタは、前記アンカピンを進退可能に支持する制輪子受を備え、
前記シリンダと前記制輪子受との間に設けられ、前記空気室と前記背圧室とを連通させるクイルを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のキャリパブレーキ装置。 - 前記シリンダは、
前記ピストンが摺動するシリンダ本体と、
前記シリンダ本体との間に前記ダイヤフラムを挟み込んで固定し、その背面を閉塞して前記空気室を画成するとともに、前記背圧室に空気圧を導く空気通路が形成されるキャリパカバーと、を備え、
前記制輪子受は、前記クイルを介して前記背圧室を前記空気室と連通する空気通路を有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のキャリパブレーキ装置。
