Description
本発明の他の構成によれば、非水系インクによる画像を担持し、上記感熱接着シートを用いて少なくとも2面が貼り付けられた、記録媒体を提供することができる。
Rで表される任意の2価の基としては、特に制限されることはなく、飽和または不飽和であってもよく、分岐、鎖状または環状であってもよく、置換または非置換であってもよい。また、Rは、主鎖または分岐鎖にヘテロ原子を有してもよい。
Xで表される2価以上のヘテロ原子としては、N(窒素)、O(酸素)、S(硫黄)等を挙げることができるが、これに限定されない。Xで表されるヘテロ原子が3価以上である場合は、水素原子、置換または非置換のアルキル基、置換または非置換のシクロアルキル基、置換または非置換のアリール基等の任意の置換基を有することができる。ヘテロ原子を主鎖に有することで、非水系インクに対する溶解性が低下して、接着性を十分に維持することができると推測される。
ここで、熱溶融温度は、乾燥後の膜厚が100μmとなるようにして作製した樹脂の乾燥皮膜を一辺2mmの正方形にカットし、株式会社ヤナコ機器開発研究所製「微量融点測定装置MP−500V」を用いて、サンプルが完全に液状となったときの温度を溶融温度とした。また、破断点伸度は、乾燥後の膜厚が500μmとなるようにして作製した樹脂の乾燥皮膜を用意し、テンシロン万能試験機RTC−1225A(株式会社オリエンテック製)を用い、測定温度20℃、測定スピード200mm/minで、得られた樹脂フィルムの引張試験を行い、樹脂フィルムが破断するまでに伸長する長さを測定し、その割合をパーセントで破断点伸度として表した。
<感熱接着シートの作製>
日本製紙ケミカル株式会社製ジェミッツテープに表1に示す樹脂を、バーコーターにて表1に示す塗工膜厚となるよう塗工して乾燥させた。塗工膜厚は23℃においてマイクロメーターにて測定した。
VA:バイロナール(ポリエステル樹脂、東洋紡績株式会社製)
AM:アサヒメルト(EVA(エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体)、旭化学合成株式会社製)
NH:日信ホットメルト(EVA(エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体)、日信化学株式会社製)
CP:ケミパール(ポリエチレン樹脂(Wシリーズ)、三井化学株式会社製)
<記録媒体>
ライン型インクジェットプリンター「オルフィスX9050」(理想科学工業株式会社製)を使用して、インク「RISO HCインク ブラック」(理想科学工業株式会社製)を用いて、IJ用紙マット170(理想科学工業株式会社製)に黒ベタ画像を両面全面に印刷し、A5サイズに裁断した。印刷設定は以下の通りである。
<記録媒体の貼り付け>
日本オフィスラミネーター株式会社製「ハガメールシーラー」を用いて、上記で得られた感熱接着シートを記録媒体の黒ベタ面で挟み込み、感熱接着シートと記録媒体とを一体化させた。「接着強度120℃」の評価では、以下のように設定した。
「接着強度200℃」の評価では、200℃のゴムローラーに毎分3mの速度で通した後、上記処理を行った。
次に、各実施例及び比較例について、非水系インクへの溶解性、熱溶融温度、破断点伸度及び接着強度を評価した。評価結果を表1及び表2に示す。
各実施例及び比較例で用いた樹脂の皮膜を長さ20mm、幅20mm、厚さ0.5mmで切り出し、「ORPHIS X用インク(K)」(理想科学工業株式会社製)に24時間浸し、膜の劣化が見られない場合は○、見られる場合は×とした。
熱溶融温度は、各樹脂について、乾燥後の膜厚が100μmとなるようにして作製した樹脂の乾燥皮膜を一辺2mmの正方形にカットし、株式会社ヤナコ機器開発研究所製「微量融点測定装置MP−500V」を用いて、サンプルが完全に液状となったときの温度を溶融温度とした。
破断点伸度は、各実施例の樹脂について、乾燥後の膜厚が500μmとなるようにして作製した樹脂の乾燥皮膜を用意し、テンシロン万能試験機RTC−1225A(株式会社オリエンテック製)を用い、測定温度20℃、測定スピード200mm/minで、得られた樹脂フィルムの引張試験を行い、樹脂フィルムが破断するまでに伸長する長さを測定し、その割合をパーセントで破断点伸度として表した。
一体化した記録媒体を剥離し、感熱接着シートの接着度合いを以下の基準で評価した。
B:印字面/感熱接着シートと記録媒体との界面がやや剥れやすいが実使用上問題ないレベルである
C:印字面/感熱接着シートと記録媒体との界面が容易に剥れる

Claims (4)
- 前記感熱接着性樹脂は、ポリウレタン樹脂及び/またはポリエステル樹脂である、請求項1に記載の感熱接着シート。
- 前記感熱接着性樹脂の熱溶融温度及び破断点伸度が下記関係式(1)を満たし、かつ、前記感熱接着性樹脂の熱溶融温度が50〜240℃であり、前記感熱接着性樹脂の破断点伸度が2000%以下である、請求項1または2に記載の感熱接着シート。
12×熱溶融温度(℃)−破断点伸度(%)<1800 ・・・(1) - 非水系溶剤を含む非水系インクによる画像を担持し、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の感熱接着シートを用いて少なくとも2面が貼り付けられた、記録媒体。
