Claims (13)
- (a)テストされるべきアッセイを受け取るセンサカートリッジと、
(b)前記センサカートリッジのセンサ表面に磁界を生成する電磁ユニットであって、前記センサ表面近傍に配される磁極によって前記磁界を生成する、電磁ユニットと、
(c)前記センサ表面近傍の磁性粒子の存在を検出する検出手段であって、内部全反射の角度で前記センサ表面に光を向ける光源と、前記センサ表面から反射される光を検出する検出器と、を有する検出手段と、
を有する磁気バイオセンサ装置であって、前記電磁ユニットは、少なくとも第1の磁界強度をもつ磁界及び第2の磁界強度をもつ磁界を時間的に交互に生成し、前記磁性粒子は、少なくとも前記センサ表面における前記磁極近傍の位置と前記磁極から離れた位置とで異なる拡散スピードを呈し、前記第1の磁界強度を印加する時間量及び前記第2の磁界強度を印加する時間量の和に対する、前記第1の磁界強度を印加する時間量の比率が、前記センサ表面上の各位置において磁性粒子の十分な拡散が得られるように、前記位置により異なる前記拡散スピードを考慮して、測定の最中に変えられる、磁気バイオセンサ装置。 - 前記第2の磁界強度がゼロである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記比率が、測定中、低下される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記比率が、測定中、連続的に変えられる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記比率が、測定中、段階的に変えられる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記比率が、測定中、約85%から約15%まで変化する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記電磁ユニットが、前記センサ表面に対し本質的に垂直な磁界強度を生成する第1の電磁ユニットと、前記センサ表面に本質的に平行な磁界強度を生成する第2の電磁ユニットと、を有し、前記垂直な磁界強度及び前記平行な磁界強度が時間的に交互に生成され、前記垂直な磁界強度の生成と前記平行な磁界強度の生成との間に、磁界が生成されない時間期間がある、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 磁気バイオセンサ装置のセンサ表面に磁界を印加する方法であって、前記磁気バイオセンサ装置は、
(a)テストされるべきアッセイを受け取るセンサカートリッジと、
(b)前記センサカートリッジのセンサ表面に磁界を生成する電磁ユニットであって、前記センサ表面近傍に配される磁極によって前記磁界を生成する、電磁ユニットと、
(c)前記センサ表面近傍の磁性粒子の存在を検出する検出手段であって、内部全反射の角度で前記センサ表面に光を向ける光源と、前記センサ表面から反射される光を検出する検出器と、を有する検出手段と、
を有し、前記方法は、前記電磁ユニットが、少なくとも第1の磁界強度を有する磁界及び第2の磁界強度を有する磁界を時間的に交互に生成することを含み、前記磁性粒子は、少なくとも前記センサ表面における前記磁極近傍の位置と前記磁極から離れた位置とで異なる拡散スピードを呈し、前記第1の磁界強度を印加する時間量及び前記第2の磁界強度を印加する時間量の和に対する、前記第1の磁界強度を印加する時間量の比率が、前記センサ表面上の各位置において磁性粒子の十分な拡散が得られるように、前記位置により異なる前記拡散スピードを考慮して、測定の最中に変えられる、方法。 - 前記第2の磁界強度がゼロである、請求項8に記載の方法。
