Claims (9)
- コアと、
前記コアの外側に配置され、前記コアの屈折率より低い屈折率を有し、前記コアから遠くなるほど屈折率が徐々に減少する内部層と、
前記内部層の外側に配置され、最低屈折率を有するトレンチ層と、
前記トレンチ層の外側に配置され、前記トレンチ層の最低屈折率より高いとともに前記コアの屈折率より低く、かつ一定である屈折率を有する外部層とを含み、
前記トレンチ層は、
前記コアから遠くなるほど屈折率が徐々に減少する第1のトレンチサブ層と、
前記コアから遠くなるほど屈折率が徐々に増加する第2のトレンチサブ層と、を含み、
前記内部層は、
前記コアから遠くなるほど屈折率が徐々に減少する第1の内部サブ層と、
前記第1のトレンチサブ層に接し、屈折率が前記外部層の屈折率と同一かつ一定である第2の内部サブ層と、を含むことを特徴とする低曲げ損失光ファイバ。 - 前記コアの屈折率差は0.0040〜0.0065の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低曲げ損失光ファイバ。
- 前記コアの直径は6.0μm〜9.5μmの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低曲げ損失光ファイバ。
- 前記内部層の屈折率差は-0.001〜0.003の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低曲げ損失光ファイバ。
- 前記内部層の厚さは16μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低曲げ損失光ファイバ。
- 前記トレンチ層の屈折率差は-0.003以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低曲げ損失光ファイバ。
- 前記トレンチ層の厚さは14μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低曲げ損失光ファイバ。
- 半径5mmの曲げが加えられた場合、1550nmと1625nmの波長で曲げ損失値が1.0dB以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低曲げ損失光ファイバ。
- 前記第2のトレンチサブ層に対する屈折率曲線の傾斜は、前記第1のトレンチサブ層に対する屈折率曲線の傾斜より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低曲げ損失光ファイバ。
