槽体2の直径120cm、水深180cm、槽容量2m2の第1図〜第3図に示す流動床式生物処理装置を用いてNO3−N濃度80mg/L、PO4−P濃度2mg/Lの合成排水を1kg−N/m3/dの槽負荷にて供給して処理した。なお、メタノールをNの3倍量添加した。

回転板7及び定置板8を省略したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして原水を処理したところ、処理水のNO3−N濃度は10mg/Lであり、また水面表面積30%に浮上した担体が視認された。

Claims (4)
- 槽内に粒状の担体が充填され、該担体を撹拌する撹拌手段と、担体に付着した気泡を放散させる気泡放散手段とを有する流動床式生物処理装置において、
該気泡放散手段は、槽内で浮上した担体を回転板と定置板とで挟むことにより気泡を放散させるように構成されていることを特徴とする流動床式生物処理装置。 - 請求項1において、該回転板は槽内の水面下で旋回するように駆動軸に取り付けられており、該定置板は、下部を水中に没するように該回転板の旋回領域に配置されており、
該回転板が旋回して該回転板の上部が該定置板の下部に当接し、この際に回転板の上部と定置板の下部との少なくとも一方が退動することにより回転板が定置板の下側を通過するように構成されていることを特徴とする流動床式生物処理装置。 - 請求項2において、前記定置板の少なくとも下部が軟質材よりなり、前記回転板の上部が定置板の下部に当接したときに該定置板の下部が退動することを特徴とする流動床式生物処理装置。
- 請求項3において、前記回転板は、上部ほど旋回進行方向の後方となるように傾斜していることを特徴とする流動床式生物処理装置。
