Description
特許文献4は、磁性微少球が、その磁気モーメントに従って様々な分布に分類され、かつ様々な受容体試薬が様々な分布の微少球に取り付けられる方法を開示している。この前処理後、すべての磁性微少球は試料に附置されることで、標的成分が前記受容体試薬に対して選択的に結合可能となる。最終手順では、繰り返しになるが、前記磁気微少球は、そのその磁気モーメントに従って様々な分布に分離され、かつ標的成分の結合は、たとえば蛍光の発生によって各分離した分布内部で検出される。
− カートリッジの試料チャンバを試料で充填する手順。当該カートリッジは具体的には上述の型のうちの1つであって良い。
− 磁性粒子が、前記試料を介して、少なくとも2つの貯蔵室から少なくとも2つの感受性領域へマイグレーションすることを可能にする手順。ここで、「可能にする」という語は、磁性粒子が前記試料を介してマイグレーションすることを可能にする条件を与えることを意味する。係る条件はたとえば、十分な時間、適切な温度、前記貯蔵室への十分な磁性粒子の提供、前記試料中での磁性粒子の溶解等を有して良い。
− 前記試料チャンバ内において所与の形状の作用磁場を発生させることで、各異なる貯蔵室の磁性粒子のほとんどが各異なる感受性領域へマイグレーションする手順。前記作用磁場は任意で全手順を通じて存在しても良い。

Claims (15)
- 液体試料中の標的成分を検出するカートリッジであって、
当該カートリッジは:
前記試料によって充填可能な連続した体積であり、かつ所与の形状の作用磁場を発生させることが可能な試料チャンバ;
前記試料中で可溶な磁性粒子のための少なくとも2つの貯蔵室;
磁性粒子及び/又は標的成分が検出可能な少なくとも2つの感受性領域;
を有し、
各異なる貯蔵室の磁性粒子が、前記作用磁場の影響を受けながら、前記試料チャンバを充填する試料内でマイグレーションを起こすとき、前記の各異なる貯蔵室の磁性粒子のほとんどは各異なる感受性領域に到達する、
カートリッジ。 - 前記感受性領域は共通の面内で延在し、かつ
前記作用磁場勾配は、前記共通の面を実質的に垂直に交差する、

- 液体試料中の標的成分の検出方法であって:
前記試料によって、連続した体積であるカートリッジの試料チャンバを充填する手順;
磁性粒子が、前記試料を介して、少なくとも2つの貯蔵室から少なくとも2つの感受性領域へマイグレーションすることを可能にする手順;
前記試料チャンバ内において所与の形状の作用磁場を発生させることで、各異なる貯蔵室の磁性粒子のほとんどを各異なる感受性領域へマイグレーションさせる手順;
前記感受性領域内で磁性粒子及び/又は標的成分を検出する手順;
を有する方法。 - 分子診断、生体試料分析、化学試料分析、食品分析、及び/若しくは科学的犯罪捜査分析への、請求項1乃至13のうちのいずれかに記載のカートリッジ又はセンサデバイスの使用。
