Description
表1に示す組成の重合性単量体5g及びn―ヘキサデカン0.25gの混合液に、ベンゾイルパーオキサイド(BPO(水25重量%含有))0.1gを溶解し、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム(SDBS)0.5重量%水溶液100mlを添加した。この混合液を、冷却しながら超音波ホモジナイザーで合計10分間分散又は乳化した。得られた乳化液を、バイアル瓶(200ml)に入れ、容器内をアルゴン置換し、70℃のオイルバスで攪拌しながら6時間重合した。室温に冷却後、10%塩酸水を添加し、重合体粒子を凝集させ、遠心分離機で遠心分離し、凝集物を回収した。得られた凝集物をエタノールで洗浄し、さらにエタノール100mlに再分散し、加熱して1時間還流した。室温に冷却後、遠心分離で粒子を回収し、さらにメタノールで洗浄した。得られた粒子を100℃の温風乾燥器で乾燥し、多孔質樹脂の凝集体を得た。
室温に冷却後、塩酸により重合体粒子を凝集させることなく限外濾過により重合体粒子を回収する以外、重合性単量体(スチレン50重量%及びジビニルベンゼン50重量%)を実施例1と同様にして重合し、重合体粒子を得た。なお、限外濾過には、ADVANTEC製ウルトラフィルターPO200を用いた。
超音波ホモジナイザーで分散又は乳化することなく、実施例1と同様にして重合性単量体(スチレン50重量%及びジビニルベンゼン50重量%)を重合し、重合体粒子の凝集体を得た。
比較例3として、スチレン−ジビニルベンゼン共重合体(「セパビーズSP850」三菱化学(株)製)、比較例4として、スチレン−ジビニルベンゼン共重合体(「セパビーズSP825L」三菱化学(株)製)、比較例5として、スチレン−ジビニルベンゼン共重合体(「セパビーズSP700」三菱化学(株)製)を用いた。
実施例及び比較例で得られた凝集体(又は樹脂粒子)の比表面積、平均細孔径、細孔容積は、分析装置(マイクロメリティックス製ASAP−2400)を用い、100℃で真空脱気処理した試料について、窒素ガス吸着法にて測定し、比表面積はBET法で算出した。また、1.5nm以下の細孔の割合は、BJH法により測定した。
得られた凝集体(又は樹脂粒子)約500mgを、アルミニウム容器に入れて精秤(小数点以下4桁まで精秤)し、シロキサン類(D4)を収容したセパラブルフラスコに入れ、密閉して、一日ごとに取り出して秤量し、熱分析(TG−DTA:N2300ml/分、25℃から250℃へ10℃/分の昇温速度で昇温)により凝集体(又は樹脂粒子)の重量増加を測定した。
Claims (7)
- 架橋構造を有する多孔質樹脂の凝集体であって、前記多孔質樹脂が、1つのビニル基を有する単官能性芳香族ビニル系単量体と、複数のビニル基を有する多官能性芳香族ビニル系単量体との共重合体であり、平均細孔径1〜30nm及び/又は細孔容積0.1〜1ml/gを有する凝集体。
- 単官能性芳香族ビニル系単量体と多官能性芳香族ビニル系単量体との割合が、前者/後者=95/5〜25/75(重量比)である請求項1記載の凝集体。
- 多孔質樹脂の一次粒子の平均粒子径がナノメーターサイズである請求項1又は2記載の凝集体。
- 比表面積100〜1000m2/gを有する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の凝集体。
- シロキサン類を吸着又は吸収して除去する除去剤であって、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の凝集体を含むシロキサン除去剤。
- シロキサン類を含む被処理流体を、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の凝集体と接触させ、シロキサン類を除去する方法。
- ガスセンサーの上流側に配設されるフィルターであって、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の凝集体を含むフィルター。
