Claims (8)
- 攪拌溶接システムであって、
裏当て板(14)と、
裏当て板(14)に沿って配置されたタングステン基部材(12)にして、溶接作業面を画成するとともに、タングステン基部材(12)を裏当て板(14)に固定するための湾曲溝(68)を含むタングステン基部材(12)と、
駆動装置(16)と、
溶接作業面上に配置された1以上のワークピース(20)に沿って摩擦を生じるように駆動装置(16)によって移動可能なピンツール(18)にして、摩擦熱及び機械的攪拌が、1以上のワークピース(20)に沿って攪拌溶接を生じるように構成されたピンツール(18)と
を備え、
前記タングステン基部材(12)が、攪拌溶接方向に順次配置された初期ピンツール接触部(46)と攪拌溶接部(47、70)を含み、前記初期ピンツール接触部(46)が前記攪拌溶接部(47、70)とは別に交換可能である
ことを特徴とする、攪拌溶接システム(10)。 - タングステン基部材(12)が溶接作業面の反対側に湾曲面(67)を含んでいて、溶接作業面が略平面であり、湾曲溝(68)が溶接作業面に埋設されている、請求項1記載の攪拌溶接システム(10)。
- 湾曲溝(68)に嵌合し、タングステン基部材(12)を裏当て板(14)に固定するように構成されているストリップ(44)を含み、ストリップ(44)が溶接作業面と略面一をなす、請求項1又は2記載の攪拌溶接システム(10)。
- 裏当て板(14)が、タングステン基部材(12)及び1以上のワークピース(20)を冷却又は加熱するように構成された液体流路(26)を含む、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の攪拌溶接システム(10)。
- 裏当て板(14)が、タングステン基部材(12)及び1以上のワークピース(20)を冷却又は加熱するように構成されたガス流路(24)を含む、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の攪拌溶接システム(10)。
- ガス流路(24)がシールドガスを流すように構成されている、請求項5記載の攪拌溶接システム(10)。
- 裏当て板(14)が、タングステン基部材(12)を収容して、裏当て板(14)とタングステン基部材(12)とを含む略面一の溶接作業面を画成するように構成されたキャビティを含む、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の攪拌溶接システム(10)。
- タングステン基部材(12)が、ドープ剤及び/又は合金化又は非合金化タングステンを含むドープ又は非ドープの合金化又は非合金化タングステンを含み、ドープ剤が、リチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、ルビジウム、セシウム、酸化ランタン、酸化イットリウム、酸化セリウム、酸化トリウム又はこれらの組合せを含む、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の攪拌溶接システム(10)。
