Description
表Aに従って、以下のようにインク組成物を調製した。全ての数値は、インク組成物の全重量に対する各成分の重量パーセントを表す。インク配合物G及びHは比較例のインクである。
インク組成物を、そのコゲーションを低減する有効性について評価した。インクジェットインク配合物A、G及びHを、3つの異なるサーマル式インクジェット構成体にロード(充填)し、初期では安定状態の滴重量に関連する基線の読みにおいて発射した。各インク組成物を、それぞれの印刷構成体によってノズル当たり2億滴で印刷した。この特定の研究のためのノズルサイズは、約20ミクロンである。コゲーション性能は、インクの大きな体積を発射させた後に維持された滴速度及び/又は滴重量を測定することによって決定された。コゲーション試験は、複数繰り返すペンによって(ペンを複数繰り返して使用して)、平均の結果について行われた。
表Aの配合物は、その濾過性能の特徴についても分析された。濾過性能は、表すインク組成物の耐詰まりの利益、つまり、プリントヘッドにおけるノズル及びフィルタを詰まらせない能力である。
