本開示は、一般的に、整形外科的器具、より具体的には、関節力データを決定及び表示するためのシステム、装置、及び方法に関する。
整形外科的人工関節は、整形外科医により患者に植え込まれて、例えば、患者の骨及び/若しくは軟組織の喪失、外傷による損傷、並びに/又は骨の変形を矯正する、又は別の方法で軽減する。整形外科的人工関節は、患者の関節の一部又は全部を置き換えることができる。例えば、整形外科的人工関節は、患者の膝、股、肩、足、又は他の関節を置き換えることができる。膝を置換する場合、整形外科的人工膝関節は、脛骨トレー、大腿骨コンポーネント、及び脛骨トレーと大腿骨コンポーネントとの間に位置付けられるポリマー挿入物又はベアリングを備えてもよい。場合によっては、人工膝関節は、人工膝蓋骨コンポーネントも含んでもよく、このコンポーネントは、手術により準備された患者の膝蓋骨の後側に固定される。

前記ハンドルに位置付けられる回路であって、前記回路は前記センサ配列からの前記センサ信号を受信し、前記ディスプレイを制御して前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力の視覚的指標を提供するよう構成される、回路と、を備える、整形外科的装置。
(2) 前記脛骨パドルが、患者の切除された脛骨近位の外科的に準備された表面上に位置するように成形されている、実施態様1に記載の整形外科的装置。
(3) 前記患者の膝蓋骨がその自然な位置にあり、前記パドルを患者の膝関節内に位置付けることができるような向きで、前記ハンドルが前記脛骨パドルに固定されている、実施態様1に記載の整形外科的装置。
(4) 前記ハンドルは、前記患者の膝関節に位置付けられたときに、前記患者の膝関節の内側面及び外側面の一方から延びる、実施態様3に記載の整形外科的装置。
(5) 前記脛骨パドルが、上部パドル筐体及び底部パドル筐体を含み、前記脛骨パドルに力が加えられていないとき、前記上部パドル筐体の外縁は前記底部パドル筐体の外縁から離間している、実施態様1に記載の整形外科的装置。
(6) 前記センサ配列が、実質的に円形パターンに配置された圧力センサの内側セット、及び実質的に円形パターンに配置された圧力センサの外側セットを含む、実施態様1に記載の整形外科的装置。
(7) 前記センサ配列が、
前記圧力センサの内側セットの後側に位置付けられる第1後側センサ、及び前記圧力センサの内側セットの前側に位置付けられる第1前側圧力センサと、
前記圧力センサの外側セットの後側に位置付けられる第2後側センサ、及び前記圧力センサの外側セットの前側に位置付けられる第2前側圧力センサと、を含む、実施態様6に記載の整形外科的装置。
(8) 前記複数の圧力センサが容量性圧力センサである、実施態様1に記載の整形外科的装置。
(9) 前記ハンドルの前記端部に固定される第2ディスプレイを更に備え、
前記ハンドルが上部ハンドル筐体及び底部ハンドル筐体を備え、前記第1ディスプレイが前記上部ハンドル筐体の端部に固定され、前記第2ディスプレイが前記底部ハンドル筐体の端部に固定される、実施態様1に記載の整形外科的装置。
(10) 前記第1ディスプレイが複数の発光ダイオードを備え、
前記回路が、(i)前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力の内側コンポーネントを示す内側力値を決定し、(ii)前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力の外側コンポーネントを示す外側力値を決定し、(iii)前記相対力値の間の前記力の内側−外側の釣り合いの指標を提供するような方法で前記複数の発光ダイオードを制御するように構成される、実施態様1に記載の整形外科的装置。
前記内側力値と前記外側力値を合計して合計力値を決定し、
前記合計力値に基づき内側−外側力値を決定し、
前記複数の発光ダイオードのうちの1つの発光ダイオードを起動して前記内側−外側力値の視覚的指標を提供するように構成される、実施態様10に記載の整形外科的装置。
(12) 前記第1ディスプレイが、内側から外側に延びる列に配置される複数の発光ダイオードを含み、前記回路が、前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力の内側−外側の釣り合いの視覚的指標を提供するような方法で前記複数の発光ダイオードのうちの1つの発光ダイオードを起動するように構成される、実施態様1に記載の整形外科的装置。
(13) 前記回路が、前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力を示すデータを送信するように構成される無線送信機を含む、実施態様1に記載の整形外科的装置。
(14) 患者の膝関節内に位置付けられるように成形された平面的なセンサ筐体と、
前記平面的なセンサ筐体に連結され、前記平面的なセンサ筐体から延びるハンドルと、
前記平面的なセンサ筐体内に位置付けられ、前記膝関節の関節力を示すセンサ信号を発生させるよう構成される、複数の圧力センサと、
前記ハンドルに連結される第1ディスプレイと、
前記複数の圧力センサに電気的に連結されるプロセッサと、
内部に記憶された複数の命令を有する記憶装置であって、前記プロセッサにより前記命令が遂行されるとき、これによって前記プロセッサが前記第1ディスプレイを制御して、前記膝関節の前記関節力の視覚的指標を提供する、記憶装置と、を含む、整形外科的装置。
(15) 前記ハンドルに連結された第2ディスプレイを更に含み、
前記ハンドルが上部筐体片及び底部筐体片を含み、前記第1ディスプレイが前記上部筐体片に連結され、前記第2ディスプレイが前記底部筐体片に連結される、実施態様14に記載の整形外科的装置。
(16) 前記複数の命令により更に、前記プロセッサが前記第2ディスプレイを制御して、前記膝関節の前記関節力の視覚的指標を提供する、実施態様14に記載の整形外科的装置。
(17) 前記ディスプレイが複数の発光ダイオードを含み、
前記回路が、(i)前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力の内側コンポーネントを示す内側力値を決定し、(ii)前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力の外側コンポーネントを示す外側力値を決定し、(iii)前記相対力値の間の前記力の内側−外側の釣り合いの指標を提供するような方法で前記複数の発光ダイオードを制御するように構成される、実施態様14に記載の整形外科的装置。
(18) 前記複数の命令により更に、前記プロセッサが、
前記内側力値と前記外側力値を合計して合計力値を決定し、
前記合計力値に基づき内側−外側力値を決定し、
前記複数の発光ダイオードのうちの1つの発光ダイオードを起動して前記内側−外側力値の視覚的指標を提供する、実施態様17に記載の整形外科的装置。
(19) 前記ディスプレイが、内側から外側に延びる列に配置される複数の発光ダイオードを含み、前記複数の命令により更に、前記プロセッサが前記関節力の内側−外側の釣り合いの視覚的指標を提供するような方法で、前記複数の発光ダイオードのうちの1つの発光ダイオードを起動する、実施態様14に記載の整形外科的装置。
(20) 患者の脛骨近位と大腿骨遠位との間に位置付けられるように成形された脛骨パドルと、
前記脛骨パドル内に位置付けられたセンサ配列であって、前記センサ配列は、(i)前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の内側力を示すセンサ信号を生成するように構成された、複数の内側に位置する圧力センサ、及び(ii)前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の外側力を示すセンサ信号を生成するように構成された、複数の外側に位置する圧力センサを含む、センサ配列と、
前記脛骨パドルに固定されたハンドルであって、前記ハンドルは上部筐体及び底部筐体を含む、ハンドルと、
前記ハンドルの前記上部筐体の端部に固定される第1の複数の発光ダイオードと、
前記ハンドルの前記底部筐体の端部に固定される第2の複数の発光ダイオードと、
前記ハンドル内に位置付けられる回路であって、前記回路は、前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記内側力と前記外側力との間の釣り合いの視覚的指標を提供するために、前記センサ信号に基づいて前記第1及び第2の複数の発光ダイオードそれぞれの、少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードを起動するように構成される、回路と、を含む、整形外科的装置。
センサモジュールを受容し、固定するように構成されるクレードルと、
前記クレードルの第1側面に可動的に連結された第1伸延具コンポーネントであって、前記第1伸延具コンポーネントは、前記第1伸延具コンポーネントから外側方向に延びて、前記センサモジュールの前記脛骨パドル及び患者の大腿骨の遠位端に繰り返し接触する第1脛骨パドル及び第1大腿骨パドルを有し、前記第1大腿骨パドルは前記第1脛骨パドルに対して可動であり、前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の第1変位を定める、第1伸延具コンポーネントと、
前記クレードルの第2側面に可動的に連結された第2伸延具コンポーネントであって、前記第2伸延具コンポーネントは、前記第2伸延具コンポーネントから前記外側方向に延びて、前記センサモジュールの前記脛骨パドル及び前記患者の大腿骨の遠位端に繰り返し接触する第2脛骨パドル及び第2大腿骨パドルを有し、前記第2大腿骨パドルは前記第2脛骨パドルに対して可動であり、前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の第2変位を定める、第2伸延具コンポーネントと、を含み、
前記第1伸延具コンポーネント及び前記第2伸延具コンポーネントは、前記クレードルに対して前記外側方向に可動であり、前記伸延具コンポーネントのうちの一方を、もう一方の伸延具コンポーネントを越えて、一般的な伸展方向で、選択的に延ばすことを可能にする、関節伸延具。
(22) クレードルが、前記クレードル内に前記センサモジュールを固定するための、留め機構を含む、実施態様21に記載の関節伸延具。
(23) 前記第1伸延具コンポーネントは、(i)前記第1脛骨及び大腿骨パドルに連結された第1のハンドル対、及び(ii)前記第1のハンドル対の端部に位置付けられた第1留め機構であって、前記第1留め機構は前記第1脛骨及び大腿骨パドルを第1の選択された位置に留めるように動作可能である、第1留め機構を含み、
前記第2伸延具コンポーネントは、(i)前記脛骨及び大腿骨パドルに連結された第2のハンドル対、及び(ii)前記第2のハンドル対の端部に位置付けられた第2留め機構であって、前記第2留め機構は前記第2脛骨及び大腿骨パドルを第2の選択された位置に留めるように動作可能である、第2留め機構を含む、実施態様21に記載の関節伸延具。
(24) 前記第1脛骨パドル、及び前記第1大腿骨パドルが、接触位置に偏っており、
前記第2脛骨パドル、及び前記第2大腿骨パドルが、接触位置に偏っている、実施態様21に記載の関節伸延具。
(25) クレードルが、前記第1伸延具コンポーネントを第1の選択された伸展位置に固定するための第1留め機構、及び、前記第2伸延具コンポーネントを第2の選択された伸展位置に固定するための第2留め機構を含む、実施態様21に記載の関節伸延具。
Claims (9)
- 患者の脛骨近位と大腿骨遠位との間に位置付けられるように成形された脛骨パドルと、
前記脛骨パドル内に位置付けられるセンサ配列であって、前記センサ配列は、前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の力を示すセンサ信号を生成するように構成される複数の圧力センサを含む、センサ配列と、
前記脛骨パドルに固定されるハンドルと、
前記ハンドルの端部に固定される第1ディスプレイと、
前記ハンドルに位置付けられる回路であって、前記回路は前記センサ配列からの前記センサ信号を受信し、前記ディスプレイを制御して前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力の視覚的指標を提供するよう構成される、回路と、を備え、
前記ハンドルの前記端部に固定される第2ディスプレイを更に備え、
前記ハンドルが上部ハンドル筐体及び底部ハンドル筐体を備え、前記第1ディスプレイが前記上部ハンドル筐体の端部に固定され、前記第2ディスプレイが前記底部ハンドル筐体の端部に固定される、整形外科的装置。 - 前記脛骨パドルが、患者の切除された脛骨近位の外科的に準備された表面上に位置するように成形されている、請求項1に記載の整形外科的装置。
- 前記患者の膝蓋骨がその自然な位置にあり、前記パドルを患者の膝関節内に位置付けることができるような向きで、前記ハンドルが前記脛骨パドルに固定されている、請求項1に記載の整形外科的装置。
- 前記脛骨パドルが、上部パドル筐体及び底部パドル筐体を含み、前記脛骨パドルに力が加えられていないとき、前記上部パドル筐体の外縁は前記底部パドル筐体の外縁から離間している、請求項1に記載の整形外科的装置。
- 前記複数の圧力センサが容量性圧力センサである、請求項1に記載の整形外科的装置。
- 前記第1ディスプレイが複数の発光ダイオードを備え、
前記回路が、(i)前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力の内側コンポーネントを示す内側力値を決定し、(ii)前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力の外側コンポーネントを示す外側力値を決定し、(iii)前記相対力値の間の前記力の内側−外側の釣り合いの指標を提供するような方法で前記複数の発光ダイオードを制御するように構成される、請求項1に記載の整形外科的装置。 - 前記回路が、
前記内側力値と前記外側力値を合計して合計力値を決定し、
前記合計力値に基づき内側−外側力値を決定し、
前記複数の発光ダイオードのうちの1つの発光ダイオードを起動して前記内側−外側力値の視覚的指標を提供するように構成される、請求項6に記載の整形外科的装置。 - 前記第1ディスプレイが、内側から外側に延びる列に配置される複数の発光ダイオードを含み、前記回路が、前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力の内側−外側の釣り合いの視覚的指標を提供するような方法で前記複数の発光ダイオードのうちの1つの発光ダイオードを起動するように構成される、請求項1に記載の整形外科的装置。
- 前記回路が、前記患者の脛骨と大腿骨との間の前記力を示すデータを送信するように構成される無線送信機を含む、請求項1に記載の整形外科的装置。
