本発明は、一般に、整形外科用器具、より具体的には、手術中に整形外科用計画を検証するためのシステム、装置、及び方法に関する。
(1) 患者の関節に対して整形外科処置を施行するための整形外科手術計画を検証するシステムであって、前記システムは、
患者の関節の関節力を指示するセンサ信号を生成するように構成されたセンサアレイ、及び前記センサ信号に基づく関節力データを生成し、前記関節力データを伝送するセンサ制御回路を含む、センサモジュールと、
患者別の整形外科用器具に関連するデータタグであって、前記データタグは前記整形外科手術計画に関連する外科処置パラメーターを含む、データタグと、
(i)前記データタグを読み取り、前記外科処置パラメーターを前記データタグから取得するように構成されたデータ読み取り器を含むディスプレイ制御回路、及び(iii)前記ディスプレイ制御回路に通信的に結合されたディスプレイを含む、手持ち式ディスプレイモジュールと、を含み、
前記ディスプレイ制御回路が、前記センサモジュールから前記関節力データを受け取り、関節力情報を前記関節力データの関数として前記ディスプレイ上に表示し、かつ前記外科処置パラメーターを前記関節力情報に関連して前記ディスプレイ上に表示するように構成されている、システム。
(2) 前記センサモジュールが、前記患者別の整形外科用器具の骨に面する表面に取り付けられ、前記センサモジュールの通信回路が、前記患者別の整形外科用器具の前側の、骨に面してない側に取り付けられた別の筐体内に配置されている、実施態様1に記載のシステム。
(3) 前記センサアレイが、前記患者別の整形外科用器具の中に組み込まれている、実施態様2に記載のシステム。
(4) 気密シールされたパッケージを更に含み、前記患者別の整形外科用器具が、前記気密シールされたパッケージ内にシールされ、前記データタグが前記気密シールされたパッケージに固定されている、実施態様1に記載のシステム。
(5) 前記データタグが前記患者別の整形外科用器具に取り付けられている、実施態様1に記載のシステム。
(7) 前記データタグが、前記患者の関節の医用画像を含み、前記データ読み取り器が、前記データタグから前記医用画像を取得するように構成され、前記ディスプレイ制御回路が、前記ディスプレイ上に前記医用画像(medial images)を表示するように構成されている、実施態様1に記載のシステム。
(8) 前記データタグが、患者識別情報を含み、前記データ読み取り器が、前記データタグから前記患者識別情報を取得するように構成され、前記ディスプレイ制御回路が、前記ディスプレイ上に前記患者識別情報を表示するように構成されている、実施態様1に記載のシステム。
(9) 前記外科処置パラメーターが、前記患者別の整形外科用器具を一意的に識別する識別データを含む、実施態様1に記載のシステム。
(10) 前記外科処置パラメーターが、前記患者別の整形外科用器具の作製で使用される外科処置パラメーターを含む、実施態様1に記載のシステム。
前記手持ち式ディスプレイモジュールが、現行の外科処置を前記しきい値及び前記関節力データの関数として検証するように構成されている、実施態様1に記載のシステム。
(12) 前記患者別の整形外科用器具に関連し、かつ前記患者の関節の医用画像を含む、データ記憶素子を更に含み、
前記ディスプレイ制御回路が、前記データ記憶素子と通信して、前記データ記憶素子から前記医用画像を検索し、かつ前記ディスプレイ上に前記医用画像を表示するように構成されている、実施態様1に記載のシステム。
(13) 前記データタグが患者別の整形外科用切断ブロックに関連するデータタグを含む、実施態様1に記載のシステム。
(14) 患者の関節に対して整形外科処置を施行するための整形外科手術計画を検証するシステムであって、前記システムは、
対応する凸の輪郭を有する患者の骨の一部を受け入れるように構成された、カスタム化された患者別の凹の輪郭を含む患者別の整形外科用器具であって、前記患者別の整形外科用器具は、患者の関節の関節力を指示するセンサ信号を生成するように構成されたセンサアレイ、及び前記センサ信号に基づく関節力データを生成し、前記関節力データを伝送するためのセンサ制御回路を含む、患者別の整形外科用器具と、
前記患者別の整形外科用器具と関連するデータタグであって、前記データタグは、(i)前記患者別の整形外科用器具を一意的に識別する識別データ、及び(ii)前記患者別の整形外科用器具の作製で使用される外科処置パラメーターを含む、データタグと、
前記データタグを読み取り、前記識別データ及び前記外科処置パラメーター(surgical parameters)を取得するように構成されたデータ読み取り器と、
(i)前記識別データ及び前記外科処置パラメーターを前記データ読み取り器から受け取るための、前記データ読み取り器に通信的に結合されたディスプレイ制御回路、及び(ii)ディスプレイ、を含み、前記ディスプレイ制御回路が、前記識別データ及び前記外科処置パラメーターを前記ディスプレイ上に表示して、前記患者別の整形外科用器具を検証するように構成されている、手持ち式ディスプレイモジュールと、を含む、システム。
(15) 前記データタグが前記患者別の整形外科用器具に取り付けられている、実施態様14に記載のシステム。
(17) 前記データタグが無線周波数識別(RFID)タグを含み、前記データ読み取り器がRFID読み取り器を含む、実施態様14に記載のシステム。
(18) 前記データタグが、前記患者の関節の医用画像を含み、前記データ読み取り器が、前記データタグを読み取り、前記データタグから前記医用画像を取得するように構成され、前記ディスプレイ制御回路が、前記ディスプレイ上に前記医用画像を表示するように構成されている、実施態様14に記載のシステム。
(19) 前記外科処置パラメーターが、前記患者の骨の計画された切断面及び前記患者の骨の計画された最終の回転の少なくとも1つのしきい値を含み、
前記手持ち式ディスプレイモジュールが、現行の外科処置を前記しきい値及び前記関節力データの関数として検証するように構成されている、実施態様14に記載のシステム。
(20) 前記ディスプレイ制御回路が、前記センサモジュールから前記関節力データを受け取り、関節力情報を前記関節力データの関数として前記ディスプレイ上に表示するように構成されている、実施態様14に記載のシステム。
データ読み取り器により、前記患者別の整形外科用器具に取り付けられているデータタグを読み取り、(i)前記患者別の整形外科用器具を一意的に識別する識別データ、及び(ii)前記患者別の整形外科用器具の作製で使用される外科処置パラメーターを前記データタグから取得することと、
整形外科処置の施行中に、前記識別データ及び前記外科処置パラメーターを手持ち式ディスプレイモジュール上で表示することと、
前記手持ち式ディスプレイモジュール上で、前記表示された識別データ及び前記外科処置パラメーターに基づいて医療供給者に患者別の整形外科用器具を検証するように指示することと、
前記整形外科処置の施行時に前記手持ち式ディスプレイモジュール上に前記患者別の整形外科用器具の検証に応えて患者の関節の関節力データを表示することと、を含む、方法。
(22) 前記データタグから前記データ読み取り器経由で、前記患者の関節の医用画像を取得することと、
前記手持ち式ディスプレイモジュール上で前記医用画像を表示することと、を更に含む、実施態様21に記載の方法。
(23) 前記データタグから前記データ読み取り器経由で、患者の骨の計画された切断面及び前記患者の骨の計画された最終の回転の少なくとも1つのしきい値を取得することと、
前記手持ち式ディスプレイモジュール上で、現行の外科処置を前記しきい値及び前記関節力データの関数として検証することと、を更に含む、実施態様21に記載の方法。
Claims (19)
- 患者の関節に対して整形外科手術処置を施行するための整形外科手術計画を検証するシステムであって、前記システムは、
患者の関節の関節力を示すセンサ信号を生成するように構成されたセンサアレイ、及び前記センサ信号に基づく関節力データを生成し、前記関節力データを伝送するセンサ制御回路を含む、センサモジュールと、
患者別の整形外科用手術器具に関連するデータタグであって、前記データタグは前記整形外科手術計画に関連する外科処置パラメーターを含む、データタグと、
(i)前記データタグを読み取り、前記外科処置パラメーターを前記データタグから取得するように構成されたデータ読み取り器を含むディスプレイ制御回路、及び(ii)前記ディスプレイ制御回路に通信的に結合されたディスプレイを含む、手持ち式ディスプレイモジュールと、を含み、
前記ディスプレイ制御回路が、前記センサモジュールから前記関節力データを受け取り、関節力情報を前記関節力データの関数として前記ディスプレイ上に表示し、かつ前記外科処置パラメーターを前記関節力情報に関連して前記ディスプレイ上に表示するように構成されており、
前記センサモジュールが、前記患者別の整形外科用手術器具の、骨に面する表面に取り付けられ、前記センサモジュールの通信回路が、前記患者別の整形外科用手術器具の前側の、骨に面してない側に取り付けられた別の筐体内に配置されている、システム。 - 前記センサアレイが、前記患者別の整形外科用手術器具の中に組み込まれている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
