Claims (15)
- 複数のバッテリーモジュールを有するバッテリーモジュールアレイであって、前記複数のバッテリーモジュールが横方向に二列以上に配列され、各バッテリーモジュールが、複数のバッテリーセル又は2つ以上のバッテリーセルがそれぞれ取り付けられた複数のユニットモジュールが前記バッテリーセル又は前記ユニットモジュールが垂直に直立した状態で重ね合わせられた構造となるように構成されている、前記バッテリーモジュールアレイと、
ベースプレートであって、該ベースプレート上に前記複数のバッテリーモジュールが垂直に直立した状態で重ね合わせられている、前記ベースプレートと、
前記バッテリーモジュールアレイの前部及び後部に設けられて前記複数のバッテリーモジュールの荷重を支持する一対の本体部材であって、該本体部材の各々の両端部が外部装置に固定される、前記一対の本体部材と、
一対の端板であって、該端板の各々の下端部が前記ベースプレートに固定された状態で前記バッテリーモジュールアレイの前記前部及び前記後部に密接するように配置された前記一対の端板と、
前記端板同士を相互に連結させると共に支持するために、前記端板の上部分の間又は側部分の間に繋げられた複数の支持バーと、
を備えるバッテリーパックにおいて、
該バッテリーパックが上下方向に振動したときの該バッテリーパックの変形が最小限に抑えられるように、前記端板の各々が前記バッテリーモジュールアレイの前記前部又は前記後部と同じ大きさの単体の形で形成されており、
前記端板の各々が、前記バッテリーモジュールアレイに接触するように配設された本体部と、上端壁部と、下端壁部と、一対の側壁部と、を備えており、前記上端壁部、前記下端壁部、及び前記側壁部が前記本体部の縁部から外方に向かって突出しており、
前記端板の各々の前記側壁部の各々が、前記本体部材の各々の各側部に結合されていることを特徴とするバッテリーパック。 - 前記バッテリーセルの各々が、板状のバッテリーセルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーセルの各々が、積層シートで形成されたバッテリーケース内に電極集合体が取り付けられた構造となるように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載
のバッテリーパック。 - 前記本体部材の各々が、前記バッテリーモジュールアレイの両側部及び底部を囲むU字形の枠構造となるように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーパックを外部装置に容易に取り付けることができるように、前記本体部
材の各々の上端部が外方に向かって屈曲されていると共に、前記本体部材の各々の屈曲部分に固定孔が設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記端板の各々の前記下端壁部が、前記ベースプレートの下端部及び前記本体部材の各々の下端部に溶接又はボルト締めによって結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記溶接又は前記ボルト締めが4箇所以上のスポットで行われていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記端板の各々の前記側壁部の各々が、前記本体部材の各々の各側部に溶接又はボルト締めによって結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記溶接又は前記ボルト締めが1箇所以上のスポットで行われていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記支持バーを前記端板に容易に取り付けることができるように、前記端板の各々の前記上端壁部が、前記バッテリーモジュールアレイの上端から上方に向かって突出していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記上方への突出高さが、前記バッテリーモジュールアレイの高さの2〜20%に相当することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記端板の各々が、矩形の平面形状に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記端板の各々は、該端板の上部分に複数の貫通孔が設けられ、該複数の貫通孔に前記支持バーが取り付けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 請求項1に記載の前記バッテリーパックを動力源として使用することを特徴とする電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、又はプラグインハイブリッド電気自動車。
- 前記バッテリーパックが、前記自動車のトランクの下端部、又は前記自動車の後部座席と前記トランクとの間に設置されることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載された電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、又はプラグインハイブリッド電気自動車。
