Description
本願は、米国特許法第119条(e)項に基づいて、2008年12月27日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/140,944号からの優先権を主張するものであり、この仮特許出願第61/140,944号の内容は、その全体が参照によって本願に組み込まれる。
一連のノズル200は、液体溶液を包含する種々の異なる材料の堆積用として用いることが可能である。以下の段落は、使用し得る材料のすべてではなくいくつかのみを包含する。一実施形態においては、電子デバイス内部の有機層用の1つ以上の材料が、一連のノズル200を用いて形成される。
Claims (13)
- 印刷材料の連続的な流れを基板上に分配することができる一連のノズルと、
前記印刷材料の飛散を低減するための吸収材料であって、前記吸収材料が前記基板に隣接しているが前記基板に接触していない、吸収材料と、
前記吸収材料の吸収能力を再生する装置と、
を含み、前記吸収能力を再生する装置が、前記吸収材料を動かすための回転装置であり、前記吸収能力を再生する装置が、前記吸収材料を通して前記印刷材料を吸引するための真空源をさらに含む装置。 - 前記一連のノズルが少なくとも3個のノズルを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記一連のノズルが少なくとも6個のノズルを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記一連のノズルが少なくとも9個のノズルを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記一連のノズルが少なくとも12個のノズルを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記吸収材料が滑らかな表面を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記吸収材料が不規則な表面を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記吸収材料が、スポンジ、天然繊維および合成繊維からなる群から選択される、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の装置を用いる液相コーティング方法であって、
一連のノズルを準備し、
吸収材料を準備し、
前記吸収材料の吸収能力を再生する装置を準備し、
印刷材料の連続的な流れを基板上に分配し、
前記印刷材料の飛散を低減するために、余剰の印刷材料を前記吸収材料の上に導くこと、
を含む方法。 - 前記連続的な流れの分配が第1方向において行われ、さらに余剰の印刷材料が前記吸収材料の上に導かれ、続いて第2方向における印刷が行われる、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第1方向が前記第2方向と反対向きである、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記吸収能力を再生する装置が、前記吸収材料を動かすための回転装置である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記吸収能力を再生する装置が、前記吸収材料を通して前記印刷材料を吸引するための真空源である、請求項10に記載の方法。
