Description
(2) 患者眼に複数の電極を設置し、該電極より所定の電気刺激パルス信号を出力させて視覚の再生を促す視覚再生補助装置の製造方法において、所定の基板上に柱状の立体形状を有する複数の電極を形成する第1ステップと、該第1ステップにより前記基板上に形成された前記電極に対してレーザーによる金属加工を用いて,前記電極上面の表面積の増加量が前記電極側面の表面積の増加量に対して大きくなるように前記電極の体積を減少させる表面処理を施すことにより、不均一で微細な凹凸形状を前記電極の表面に施す第2ステップと、を有することを特徴とする。
以上のように、表面処理装置100は、特殊な薬品又は特殊な設備を必要とせず、簡単で安価に構成することができる。
つまり、以上のように簡単な構成の表面処理装置を用いて、簡単に電極44の表面積を増加させることができるようになる。

Claims (2)
- 患者眼に複数の電極を設置し、該電極より所定の電気刺激パルス信号を出力させて視覚の再生を促す視覚再生補助装置において、
前記電極は、柱状の立体形状を有し、且つ、レーザーによる金属加工を用いて,前記電極上面の表面積の増加量が前記電極側面の表面積の増加量に対して大きくなるように前記電極の体積を減少させる表面処理が施されることによって、不均一で微細な凹凸形状を有することを特徴とする視覚再生補助装置。 - 患者眼に複数の電極を設置し、該電極より所定の電気刺激パルス信号を出力させて視覚の再生を促す視覚再生補助装置の製造方法において、
所定の基板上に柱状の立体形状を有する複数の電極を形成する第1ステップと、
