- 殺菌可能な包装材に適しており、かつ顔料をコートされた漂白クラフトパルプの最上層を有する1つ又は複数の層を含む顔料コート板紙であって、該板紙が、700kg/m3〜870kg/m3の範囲内の密度を有しており、各層のサイズ剤処理により疎水性であり、該顔料コーティングが、顔料と、バインダと、レオロジー調節剤とを含んでおり、該顔料が少なくとも50重量%の炭酸カルシウムを含んでおり、該バインダがアクリルコポリマーを含んでおり、かつ該レオロジー調節剤がアクリルコポリマーを含んでおり、さらに該顔料コート最上層が、印刷面を形成する最上面を有していることを特徴とする顔料コート板紙。
- 前記の顔料をコートされた漂白クラフトパルプの最上層が、ISO 8791−4に従って測定された1μm〜5μmの表面粗さ(PPS−10)を有している請求項1に記載の顔料コート板紙。
- 前記板紙が液体包装用板紙である請求項1又は2に記載の顔料コート板紙。
- 前記の各層のサイズ剤処理が、2kg/ton乾燥繊維〜4kg/ton乾燥繊維の範囲内の投与量のサイズ剤使用を伴っている請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の顔料コート板紙。
- 前記サイズ剤がC18ベースのAKD(アルキルケテンダイマー)である請求項3又は4に記載の顔料コート板紙。
- 前記サイズ剤が、総量が2kg/ton〜4kg/ton乾燥繊維である、AKDとASA(アルケニルコハク酸無水物)との組合せである請求項3又は4に記載の顔料コート板紙。
- 前記ボードの繊維の少なくとも一部が、HC(高濃度)リファイナにより処理されている請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の顔料コート板紙。
- 前記最上層が、15kg/ton〜60kg/tonの二酸化チタンを含有している請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の顔料コート板紙。
- 前記顔料コート層が、10%〜20%の重量パーセンテージのスチレン−アクリルコポリマーバインダと、80%〜90%の重量パーセンテージの層状ケイ酸塩鉱物及び炭酸カルシウムの顔料と、0.1%〜1%の重量パーセンテージのレオロジー調節剤とを含んでいる請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の顔料コート板紙。
- 前記顔料コーティングが、
層状ケイ酸塩鉱物、若しくは水和ケイ酸マグネシウム、若しくは炭酸カルシウム、若しくは二酸化チタン、若しくはサテンホワイト、又はそれらの組合せからなる群より選択される顔料と、
スチレン−ブタジエンラテックス、メチルメタクリレート−ブタジエンラテックス、ポリアクリレートラテックス、スチレン−アクリルラテックス若しくは樹脂、ポリビニルアセテート、ポリビニルアルコール、多糖類、デンプン、タンパク質、又はそれらの組合せからなる群より選択されるバインダと、
ポリマー類の群から選択されるレオロジー調節剤と、
をさらに含む請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の顔料コート板紙。 - 前記顔料の少なくとも80%が炭酸カルシウムである請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の顔料コート板紙。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の顔料コート板紙を含むことを特徴とする包装材。
- 例えばフレキソ印刷、オフセット印刷及び平版印刷における先刷り印刷又は後刷り印刷に適することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の包装材。
- 殺菌に適する包装材を製造するための、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の板紙の使用方法。
- 前記包装材とその内容物との同時殺菌に適する包装材を製造するための、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の板紙の使用方法。
- 前記殺菌が蒸気を伴う工程を含んでいる請求項15に記載の使用方法。
- 殺菌可能な包装材に適する顔料コート板紙を製造するプロセスにおける方法であって、
漂白クラフトパルプの最上層を有する1つ又は複数の層を含む板紙を作製することであって、該板紙が700kg/m3〜870kg/m3の範囲内の密度を有しており、各層をサイズ剤で処理して疎水性とすること、
前記板紙の前記最上層に、顔料と、バインダと、レオロジー調節剤とを含む顔料コーティングを設けることであって、前記顔料が少なくとも50重量%の炭酸カルシウムを含んでおり、前記バインダがアクリルコポリマーを含んでおり、かつ前記レオロジー調節剤がアクリルコポリマーを含んでおり、それによって該顔料コート最上層が、印刷面を形成する最上面を獲得すること
を含むことを特徴とする殺菌可能な包装材に適する顔料コート板紙を製造するプロセスにおける方法。 - 各層を、C18ベースのAKD(アルキルケテンダイマー)のようなサイズ剤で処理することを含み、2kg/ton〜4kg/ton乾燥繊維の範囲内の投与量のサイズ剤の使用を伴う請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記ボードの繊維の少なくとも一部をHC(高濃度)リファイナで処理することを含む請求項17又は18に記載の方法。
- 前記板紙の前記最上層に、10%〜20%の重量パーセンテージのスチレン−アクリルコポリマーバインダと、80%〜90%の重量パーセンテージの層状ケイ酸塩鉱物及び炭酸カルシウムの顔料と、0.1%〜1%の重量パーセンテージのレオロジー調節剤とを含む顔料コーティング層を付与することを含む請求項17〜19のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
