Claims (7)
- 削りくずを生ずることなくねじ山を形成するタッピンねじ(10)であって、少なくとも部分的にねじ山(15)を設けたシャフト(11)を有し、シャフト(11)の端部に尖端部(13)と、この尖端部(13)の反対側の端部にヘッド(14)を設け、尖端部(13)からヘッド(14)の方向に延在する尖鋭円錐台状部分(21)と、この尖鋭円錐台状部分(21)とヘッド(14)との間に円柱状部分(25)を設けたタッピンねじ(10)において、
尖鋭円錐台状部分(21)のヘッド(14)側に第1ラグビーボール状部分(22)を隣接させ、この第1ラグビーボール状部分(22)の外套面(12)は軸線方向に展開する第1曲率半径(R1)を有し、また、前記第1ラグビーボール状部分(22)と円柱状部分(25)との間に第2ラグビーボール状部分(24)を備え、第2ラグビーボール状部分(24)の外套面(16)は軸線方向に展開する第2曲率半径(R2)を有し、さらに第1曲率半径(R1)と第2曲率半径(R2)の大きさを相違させ、
第1ラグビーボール状部分(22)と第2ラグビーボール状部分(24)との間に、円錐台状移行部分(23)を設けたことを特徴とするタッピンねじ(10)。 - 削りくずを生ずることなくねじ山を形成するタッピンねじ(10)であって、少なくとも部分的にねじ山(15)を設けたシャフト(11)を有し、シャフト(11)の端部に尖端部(13)と、この尖端部(13)の反対側の端部にヘッド(14)を設け、尖端部(13)からヘッド(14)の方向に延在する尖鋭円錐台状部分(21)と、この尖鋭円錐台状部分(21)とヘッド(14)との間に円柱状部分(25)を設けたタッピンねじ(10)において、
尖鋭円錐台状部分(21)のヘッド(14)側に第1ラグビーボール状部分(22)を隣接させ、この第1ラグビーボール状部分(22)の外套面(12)は軸線方向に展開する第1曲率半径(R1)を有し、また、前記第1ラグビーボール状部分(22)と円柱状部分(25)との間に第2ラグビーボール状部分(24)を備え、第2ラグビーボール状部分(24)の外套面(16)は軸線方向に展開する第2曲率半径(R2)を有し、さらに第1曲率半径(R1)と第2曲率半径(R2)の大きさを相違させ、
第2曲率半径(R2)を第1曲率半径(R1)よりも小さく構成したタッピンねじ(10)。 - 請求項1記載のタッピンねじにおいて、尖鋭円錐台状部分の母線と中心軸線とのなす角度(α)を10°〜20°としたタッピンねじ(10)。
- 請求項1記載のタッピンねじにおいて、円錐台状移行部分の母線と中心軸線とのなす角度(β)を6°〜40°としたタッピンねじ(10)。
- 請求項1または2に記載のタッピンねじにおいて、第1曲率半径(R1)を30〜100mmとしたタッピンねじ(10)。
- 請求項1または2に記載のタッピンねじにおいて、第2曲率半径(R2)を15〜30mmとしたねじ(10)。
- 請求項1記載のタッピンねじにおいて、ねじ山(15)を円柱状部分(25)から尖鋭円錐台状部分(21)までの間に延在させ、ねじ山高さ(H)を尖鋭円錐台状部分(21)の方向に移行するに従って減少させたタッピンねじ(10)。
