Description

Claims (19)
- カラーチャネルに依存した光放射を有するディスプレイデバイス上で画像を提示する方法であって、
(a)複数の入力ピクセル信号を含む画像入力信号を受信することであって、各入力ピクセル信号は3つの色成分を有すること、
(b)前記3つの色成分のうち、低減色成分としてルミナンスが低い色成分を選択すること、
(c)選択された前記低減色成分と残りの色成分のルミナンスの差に依存して、入力ピクセル信号毎に低減係数を計算すること、
(d)各ピクセル信号の色成分毎にそれぞれの飽和度調整係数を選択すること、
(e)前記入力ピクセル信号毎の前記低減係数及び前記3つの色成分の前記飽和度調整係数を用いて、前記画像入力信号のそれぞれルミナンス及び色飽和度を調整することによって、前記画像入力信号から4つの色成分を有する画像出力信号を生成すること、
(f)カラーチャネルに依存した光放射を有する4チャネルディスプレイデバイスを配設すること、及び
(g)前記ディスプレイデバイスに前記画像出力信号を印加することであって、該ディスプレイデバイスに、前記画像出力信号に対応する画像を提示させること、
を含む、方法。 - (h)ルミナンス利得を選択すること、及び
(i)前記選択されたルミナンス利得をさらに用いて前記画像入力信号の前記ルミナンスを調整することによって、前記画像出力信号を生成すること、
をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記選択されたルミナンス利得は、前記画像入力信号、前記低減係数及び前記飽和度調整係数に依存する、請求項2に記載の方法。
