UCEが増加しても、フライはほとんど変化しないことに注目されたい。したがって、トウ製造元は、低フライを有する高UCEトウ(より低いCvのトウと言える)を製造することができる。さらに、本発明のトウは、高いUCEを有するにもかかわらず従来のトウと同様に開繊可能であった。

Claims (9)
- 平均UCEの平均フライに対する関係が、フライ(g/30分)<0.00009e(0.0209UCE)であり、かつフライ値が最大0.06である、酢酸セルローストウを含むたばこフィルタートウの製造方法であって、
トウを可塑化するステップと、
スタッファーボックスチャネルに連通した誘導捲縮ロール及び蒸気インジェクターを有する捲縮機を用いて、可塑化の後にトウを捲縮するステップと
を含む製造方法。 - 前記たばこフィルタートウが、280gcm/cmを超える平均捲縮消失エネルギー、および0.030g/30分以下の平均フライを有する酢酸セルローストウを含んでいる、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記たばこフィルタートウが、265gcm/cmを超える平均捲縮消失エネルギー、および0.023g/30分以下の平均フライを有する酢酸セルローストウを含んでいる、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記たばこフィルタートウが、250gcm/cmを超える平均捲縮消失エネルギー、および0.017g/30分以下の平均フライを有する酢酸セルローストウを含んでいる、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記たばこフィルタートウが、2.5以下の平均ロッド間圧力低下変動係数をさらに有している、請求項2〜4のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記たばこフィルタートウが、2.2以下の平均ロッド間圧力低下変動係数をさらに有している、請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- 前記たばこフィルタートウが、1.75以下の平均ロッド間圧力低下変動係数をさらに有している、請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- 前記たばこフィルタートウが、80硬度単位以上の硬度をさらに有している、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記たばこフィルタートウが、2〜4の範囲内にあるフィラメント当たりのデニール数をさらに有している、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法。
