Claims (6)
- データ通信ネットワークで使用されるノードであって、
ノードのピアノードと通信するための、複数の第1のポートを含むピアリンク集合上にトラフィックを割り当てるピアリンクアグリゲータであって、ピアノードが、ピアノード二重層リンクアグリゲータを含み、ピアリンクアグリゲータが、ピアリンク集合上に転送される各パケットにソースポート番号およびパケットタイプを含むヘッダ情報を追加し、ソースポート番号として外層リンク集合を示す値を遠隔リンク集合上で受信された任意のパケットのヘッダに挿入するように構成され、これに関して、宛先がL2ハードウェア検索テーブル上のいずれのポートにも関連付けられない、ピアリンクアグリゲータ、
ピアノードとも通信している第3のノードと通信するための、複数の第2のポートを含む遠隔リンク集合上にトラフィックを割り当てる遠隔リンクアグリゲータ、および
複数の第1のポートおよび複数の第2のポートを含む外層リンク集合上にトラフィックを割り当てる外側リンクアグリゲータを備え、ノードで受信したパケットを検査してそのソースおよび宛先を判定するように構成される二重層リンクアグリゲータと、
二重層リンクアグリゲータに結合されたCPUと、
ノードで受信されたパケットを記憶するためのバッファと、
パケットのソースをノードのポートまたはリンク集合と関連付けるためのL2ハードウェア検索テーブルとを備え、L2ハードウェア検索テーブルが、パケットが受信されたポートに関係なく、いずれのパケットソースも遠隔リンク集合に関連付けない、ノード。 - ノードが、スイッチである、請求項1に記載のノード。
- ノードが、ルータである、請求項1に記載のノード。
- 複数の第1のポートが、2つのポートを含む、請求項1に記載のノード。
- 複数の第2のポートが、2つのポートを含む、請求項1に記載のノード。
- 第3のノードが、ノードおよびピアノードと通信する第3のノードのポートを含むノード間リンク集合で集合された複数のノードを含む、請求項1に記載のノード。
